Most Pacific islands have unpretentious police cars up to 30 years old. They use money wisely, not like Queensland. The police on these islands are so friendly and helpful and non-confrontational, not like Queensland. That is why they have top respect.

Rebecca, we totally found them. The LAST two Domos they had!!!!
AND: true Blythe story. We're in the store and we've just found the Domos. And a woman walks up to me and asks about Comet. I tell her "Oh, she's part of a photography project" (my standard answer when someone is looking at me like I might be a bit odd. Y'know.) To which she replies (caps mine for emphasis) "CAUSE THOSE WERE MY FAVORITE DOLLS AS A KID, I HAD A COUPLE OF THEM." and then "MY MOM STILL HAS THEM IN HER GARAGE."
OMG.
So doofus Furry Dude blurts out, "Wow, those are worth a whole lot of money!" So much for my chance to possibly score a cheap Kenner! The lady's eyes bug out of her head and as we left . . . she's on the phone with her mom to get the dolls out of the garage.
So if y'all see a couple of Kenners on ebay from the So. Cal area in the next few days . . you can thank me.

Sassie is a miniature pinscher and she takes her breed very seriously. Saturday, we stopped at the Humane Society of Greater Miami to see how she would get along with us. Well, she didn't. The 15lbs, 1 1/2 foot tall was biting, barking and boy could she jump up. I suppose she was very nervous and intimidated with us being there and so close to her puppies. Matt sat down on the floor, and got bit 3-4 times before Sassie finally took some food from his hand. She bit me twice and I had it! It would be a challenge to foster this dog. I basically said NO because I was really scared of this very aggressive Sassie girl. But, it was breaking my heart that no one wanted to deal with her because of her temper. On the ride home, we listened to Sarah McClaughn on the iPOD but even her calming voice did not help the crying. Once we got home, I set up the cage while Matt held Sassie. That night, I did not get near her. She tried to bite me a couple of more times. The last one was just grabbing my shorts... I fed her that night. Sunday morning she was like a different dog... even jumped on Matt while we were having breakfast & licked his face. By Sunday afternoon, we had become friends and now she seems adorable. I have a lot to learn from Sassie.... Saturday, all I could picture in my head was having one of the dogs from "Amores Perros" ("Love is a bitch") in my house. Today, Sassie hangs out with me at all times, she lets me deal with her puppies & she even licks me!
