As ever when I see a theme I like, I saw this waaaay too late!
This is a macro of one of my earphones.

.....has been a longtime friend of mine. I've had it since school days.
I was never that great at it. A closet performer. But I'd sing and play and entertain myself.
I took it out of its case a few days ago after many years.
And it was as I feared.
My hearing losses are too much to be able to hear some of the frequencies. Some sound just like "plunk". Tuning it was next to impossible and melody was almost lost.
So.....I put it back in its case and its place of fondness and gratitude in my life.
Happily, I have a new interest.
When I came out of the closet with that one, I discovered .......there are people!!
And while I love viewing the photos, even more it's the friendships that I feel and care about with folks I probably will never even meet.
So, thank you each and all. Most sincerely.

Frequency is the number of occurrences of a repeating event per unit of time. It is also referred to as temporal frequency, which emphasizes the contrast to spatial frequency and angular frequency.

Framed clouds through the windows of the old Delicias railway station (1880-1969), in Madrid, Spain, which currently houses the Railway Museum.
The truth is that the clouds threatened rain, but in the end it was a great afternoon and night.
In that old station, with a monthly frequency, a temporary market called "Mercado de Motores" is organized, although in reality all kinds of items are sold, such as antiques, clothing, accessories, and food items for gourmets.
There I recently bought a delicious meat from cattle raised in a completely natural way, even with food produced by a farm in the province of Toledo.
NUBES ENMARCADAS, 2023
Nubes enmarcadas a través de los cristales de la antigua estación de ferrocarril de Delicias (1880-1969), en Madrid, España, que actualmente alberga el Museo del Ferrocarril.
La verdad es que las nubes amenazaban lluvia, pero al final quedó una tarde y una noche estupendas.
En esa antigua estación, con una frecuencia mensual, se organiza un mercado temporal llamado, "Mercado de Motores", aunque en realidad se venden todo tipo de artículos, como antigüedades, ropa, complementos, y artículos de comida para gourmets.
Allí compre recientemente una riquísima carne de reses criadas de forma totalmente natural, incluso con la alimentación de producción propia de una granja de la provincia de Toledo.

The peregrine falcon (Falco peregrinus), also known as the peregrine, and historically as the duck hawk in North America, is a widespread bird of prey (raptor) in the family Falconidae. A large, crow-sized falcon, it has a blue-grey back, barred white underparts, and a black head. The peregrine is renowned for its speed, reaching over 320 km/h (200 mph) during its characteristic hunting stoop (high-speed dive), making it the fastest bird in the world, as well as the fastest member of the animal kingdom. According to a National Geographic TV program, the highest measured speed of a peregrine falcon is 389 km/h (242 mph). As is typical for bird-eating raptors, peregrine falcons are sexually dimorphic, with females being considerably larger than males. Peregrine falcons have a flicker fusion frequency of 129 Hz (cycles per second), very fast for a bird of its size, and much faster than mamals.
Although its diet consists almost exclusively of medium-sized birds, the peregrine will occasionally hunt small mammals, small reptiles, or even insects. Reaching sexual maturity at one year, it mates for life and nests in a scrape, normally on cliff edges or, in recent times, on tall human-made structures. The peregrine falcon became an endangered species in many areas because of the widespread use of certain pesticides, especially DDT. Since the ban on DDT from the early 1970s, populations have recovered, supported by large-scale protection of nesting places and releases to the wild.
The peregrine falcon is a well-respected falconry bird due to its strong hunting ability, high trainability, versatility, and availability via captive breeding. It is effective on most game bird species, from small to large. (Wikipedia)

After spending some time in a sort of ''gap'' of what to do next, instead of thinking more, I decided to take my camera and shoot- whatever comes to my mind. The only thing I know was that, it would be something different than before- but the change would develope in smaller steps.
My first victim in this ''passing stage'' was Liza, a very very sweet model, who helped me a lot with my last shooting.
Until I find my new voice, there will be some more experimental, more on ''mood changes''..
In this shoot, Liza asked me " what is that exactly you want? Dramatic, cinematic or else?"
I replied, " imagine, somehow you have passed to another alternative demonsion, which is alien to you. You are partly trapped there. the only way to communicate with your own real world is a transmition from MW frequency which is something you need to find. "
Surprisingly, she understood what I mean :))

Pukerangi, 1 december 2017 - Ooit met een frequentie van (in het hoogseizoen) zo eens per week op zondag reed Dunedin Railways, of eigenlijk toen nog opererend als Taieri Gorge Railway, voorbij het gebruikelijke eind- en keerpunt Pukerangi door naar Middlemarch. Dit kleine stadje, gelegen een krappe twintig kilometer verder richting het noordwesten, vormt het spoorse eindpunt van wat overbleef van de ooit ruim 235 kilometer lange Otago Central Railway, die de havenstad Dunedin dwars door het heuvelachtige binnenland van Centraal Otago, verbond met Cromwell. Nu is Middlemarch vooral nog bekend als het begin- en eindpunt van het populaire fietspad dat op de bedding van de voormalige spoorlijn werd gerealiseerd: het Otago Central Rail Trail, dat zo'n 150 kilometer lang is.
Voor de treinreizigers betekende de wekelijkse uitstap naar Middlemarch een leuke afwisseling met de reguliere dagtocht door de Taieri Gorge, die hen onder meer voerde over het tweede (!) gecombineerde spoor-wegviaduct op de toeristische spoorlijn en bracht langs uitgestrekt glooiend heuvelland. Aangekomen in Middlemarch was er een uur de tijd om het lokale museum te bezoeken of de benen te strekken in het dorp. Daarna keerde de trein weer terug naar Pukerangi en daalde vervolgengs door de Taieri Gorge weer af naar zeeniveau, om te eindigen in Dunedin waar de dagtrip in de ochtend begon. Helaas zorgde de Covid-pandemie voor sterk teruglopende reizigersaantallen, waardoor de treindienst vanaf Dunedin in eerste instantie geheel werd gestaakt en later, toen het toerisme weer wat op gang kwam, alleen werd hervat tot Hindon en nog wat later Pukerangi. Een heropening van het laatste stukje van de lijn tot Middlemarch staat wel op het programma, maar is er tot op heden helaas nog niet van gekomen.
In 2017 was de wekelijkse pendel nog wel gewoon operationeel en op een zonnige 1 december waren het DJ's 1209 en 1210 die hier bij Sutton trein 1909 sleepten van Pukerangi naar Middlemarch.

Pukerangi, December 1, 2017 — Once with a frequency of (in peak season) about once a week on Sundays, Dunedin Railways—or actually operating back then as Taieri Gorge Railway—would run past the usual terminal and turnaround point of Pukerangi all the way to Middlemarch. This small town, located just under twenty kilometers further northwest, forms the rail terminus of what remained of the once over 235-kilometer-long Otago Central Railway, which connected the port city of Dunedin straight through the hilly interior of Central Otago to Cromwell. Today, Middlemarch is primarily known as the starting and ending point of the popular cycle path built on the former railway bed: the Otago Central Rail Trail, which spans some 150 kilometers.
For train travelers, the weekly excursion to Middlemarch offered a nice change of pace from the regular day trip through the Taieri Gorge, which took them across the second (!) combined rail-road viaduct on the tourist railway and past vast, rolling hills. Upon arriving in Middlemarch, there was an hour to visit the local museum or stretch one's legs in the village. Afterward, the train returned to Pukerangi and then descended through the Taieri Gorge back to sea level, ending in Dunedin where the day trip had begun in the morning. Unfortunately, the Covid pandemic caused a sharp drop in passenger numbers, leading train services from Dunedin to be completely suspended at first, and later—when tourism slowly picked up again—only resumed as far as Hindon and somewhat later Pukerangi. A reopening of the final stretch of the line to Middlemarch is on the agenda, but unfortunately, it has not yet materialized to this day.
In 2017, the weekly shuttle was still fully operational, and on a sunny December 1st, DJs 1209 and 1210 were hauling train 1909 from Pukerangi to Middlemarch near Sutton.
