British Invasion Poppy (who I think I may be calling Britta) has a Lana Del Rey moment while posing in front of some of the album art for Honeymoon.
This year I'm using a different film format each month, starting with the smallest and working my way up through the sizes. The format for July is the 126 (or Instamatic) cartridge which was introduced in 1963. It was made for the Kodak Instamatic range of cameras, and was produced until around 2008. The format gave 28mm x 28mm square negatives and the vast majority of cameras made to use it were very simple and basic. The only film available now is long expired, so this was taken using Lomochrome Metropolis film loaded into an old 126 cartridge. The camera is a Kodak Instamatic 233-X.
This is part of a recent photo shoot, and I will be adding more from this session subsequently. As for the title, I have my reasons, believe me! I will say that the inspiration for this particular photo comes from a fellow flickr member whose work I admire greatly. Karen, aka Kiss My Bliss requested quite sometime ago that we take a photo of ourselves with smeared lipstick. I was definitely up for the challenge, and always meant to comply. It took me longer to get around to it than I'd like to admit, however, it sounded like something that I wanted to try. I'd like to thank Karen for the inspiration, and for continuing to provide us with her beautiful and creative self portraits!

This is the biggest spider I have seen in my life!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe we have spiders like this in Montana!!!!! This was taken outside on my back gate!!!!! I'm pretty sure this is a Wolf spider; it could be a Grass Spider. It looked big enough to think it was a tarantula!!!!! LOL....Now, I'm impressed with this spider....but I'm gonna find out how to get rid of them. I found one last year...it carries it's babies live on it's back....yuck!!!
It was almost dark when I come across this thing...took a pic of it and left. It would be too gross to smash it...creeped me out bad...but I'm not packing my bags at this point!!! LOL Check it out in large ….amazing details! This was a dam big spider!!!!! Spooks me! Should have shot it with a pistol!!!!!! Just joking......:)
Info from the internet: Named for their similarities to wolves, wolf spiders are medium to large in size, brown or black and hairy. These spiders also have long legs and can get around quite speedily. Their eyesight is excellent, and they use it to hunt down prey. Wolf spiders are among the largest spiders found in Montana and can be aggressive. Wolf spiders do not spin webs. In autumn, if they cannot find food, they will often move into houses. The female carries the eggs in her spinnerets until they hatch, and after they emerge she carries the baby spiders on her back.
This is a wolf spider (in the link below) I got a shot of a few years ago here in my yard. The only reason I think it's a wolf spider is the info says it's the only spider who carries it's babies on it's back alive!!!!! :P

I chose not to post that piece. Those photos are for the KOA/WD family. They can post them somewhere if they want, but I felt the need to make my tribute something for those guys alone.
This piece was really quick and it shows. Probs 20 mins start to finish, though it may have been longer as I had to fight the paint the whole way... fucking Ironlak. Sorry if it's a bit messy but it really was an afterthought. Not really liking this piece but wanted to post something for my day's work.

These are the racers of three of Batman's villains who have a freaky look to them. Two-Face's racer is perfectly split into an orange and a purple side, Poison Ivy's racer is completely made out of plants, and Scarecrow's racer is shaped like a square coffin and is covered in various creepy things.
