A section where all artist are welcome, called "Freak Alley" in downtown Boise, Idaho. There is no better place to live then the Treasure Valley!
I wanted to show off the color depth and detail of the wall art so using my Nikon D810 36mp camera body and a 24mm prime lens was key.
In the editing process I used several different techniques to show off the colors and to bring the walls to life. Lighting is a key element.

The Freak Out ride at the County Fair. I made a pilgrimage to the fair to get some after dark pictures, not too much of a pilgrimage since it is less than two miles away. Close enough to be able to hear concerts at the house.
The girls needed to do a little shopping... I know it's hard to see but the sign in the corner says "Freaks Sixth Ave." ;o)
Set movie 2018
The movie Freaks out directed by Gabriele Mainetti was shot for a part in Viterbo in 2018, on the oldest site of the cathedral hill. The scene was inspired by bombings that actually occurred during the Second World War between 1943 and 1944

A freak snowstorm blew into southern Quebec around twilight on April 4th. Flakes illuminated by headlights left streaks during the time the camera's shutter was open (1/10th of a sec).
