La murale du Freak Lunchbox, 1729 Barrington St, Halifax, Nouvelle-Écosse (Nova Scotia), Canada.
Située à proximité de la Province House, cette fresque, qui décore la façade adjacente d’une confiserie, a été créée en 2015 par Jason Botkin, un Montréal et un maître des murales extérieures. La scène représente une bataille entre un héron bleu et une pieuvre qui se disputent un poisson. Tout est fait dans de délicieuses teintes rose-bonbon accentuées par la présence des bonbons multicolores. Les tentacules de poulpe s'écoulent de la "toile". Les bonbons rappellent les délices qui attendent le client à la Freak Lunchbox.

A dramatic arctic chill swept across the northeast U.S. this weekend, with a fast-moving front of dark, rolling clouds, a stark contrast against the otherwise sunny day. The marina opened for the season on May 1st, and there were a few sailboats out on the bay, but the biting wind and plummeting temperatures made it too uncomfortable to stay. At home, the sun was shining, but there was sleet falling. In New Jersey and further east on Long Island there was some snow accumulation. Freak weather for May; strange times, indeed. I DID catch the kitty at the gas station!TODAY!! She is scared and dirty, hungry and thirsty. She is here in New Orleans with me but will travel to Alabama with me and the three dogs when we go. That should be interesting! I have a very large soft side carrier for the trip. Wish me luck!! 😊 Ken has called her Holly from the start- said he reminded him SO much of our other Holly so maybe that is her name. 😊❤️
