Perfect Grade Astray Red Frame Gundam that I build up over the weekend. By this stage it must taken me 12 or so hours over 2 days to get this far but I really did enjoy building the Astray Red Frame
Framed print from the print I won off the lovely Lizzy House's blog. This was the inspiration for her first fabulous fabric line!
It's hard to see in the photo but the orange is an inset piece of wood called a filet hand mixed & painted to match the orange in the print, which sits back in the frame by about 7.5mm. I LOVE it!
This photo meets the project goal because it has framing and good composition.
To take this photo i took very small flower from the tree and placed on the top of a heart, part of the necklace, i also had very dark background and blurred out the beads of the necklace so the main focus would be the flower and the heart.
The strength of my photo would be the placement and the angle this photo was captured at, the weaknesses of this photo would be the light because i took it inside the house.
Sara through a door where the glass window has been completely shattered out, in an abandoned theater in downtown Detroit.
I don't know the exact location, it's right downtown, along a main road, somewhere on the route we walked to get from Greektown to Cobo.
My fiancee Katy has decided to get a digital SLR camera for herself so we can both take photos when we go for walks. I am really looking forward to visiting a few interesting locations that we can both photograph together. This way we get to spend more time together instead of me going out with my camera on my own.
Incase you were wondering the camera is an Olympus E-500.
I was walking down the hill to the lake and looked over to see the sunset framed in between these two trees.

Mamiya C220 TLR camera, Mamiya-Sekor 80mm f/2.8 lens, Fomapan 100 black-and-white negative, Ilfotec LC29 for 9 minutes.
For framing and composition, I took a photo of an abandoned barn off of 32 and Oakridge Rd. I asked my mom to pull over because I thought it was the perfect opportunity to capture a good photo. The sun was shining, and I believed it was great lighting. In this photo, not only is this beautiful barn being framed by the trees, but the path also frames the barn. The focal point in this photo is the opening door of the barn. The door is being enhanced by the trees on either side and the path. Starting from the very front of the photo, the eyes are lead down the path, and to the door. I really love all of the vibrant and warn colors in this photo, and I really like the rustic look. If I could change anything about this photo, I might straighten the photo a little more and make the top of the barn exactly a 90 degree angle with the edge of the photo; however, I don't really think that it is highly noticeable. Overall, I think I did a really nice job capturing this photo at the right time of day, and at the right place!

What do you do to a photo to bring attention to it? You put it into a FRAME for display in hopes of drawing attention. You can do this in-camera while getting your shot by using natural frames all around you to increase the drama, suspension, emotion, highlight your subject, and make your photos more interesting. Alfred Hitchcock said: "Drama is life with the dull bits cut out." Today we will be sharing tips with some posts to educate and inspire you to "freeze/capture your photos with a frame." .

3⃣rd tip on framing: There is almost always architecture around you. Architecture can add so much suspense to your photos. Look for narrow hallways, paths, arches, streets with buildings in a row. When you find them, step back, look at the beautiful frame, place your subject in the middle and BRAVO!....you've just framed your subject with architecture.

Part of a series of images called framed (working title) in which the frame is part of the picture instead of surrounding it.
here the frame is trapping the leaves in a frosty early morning shot.
I saw a beautiful pix by Sawyers Nana and I spent all day trying to duplicate it....not as small or perfect as hers,but considering there was MATH involved,not bad! LOL
This is a small photo frame in the shape of a rabbit that usually lives on the windowledge in my study. I'm not 100% convinced that this meets the criteria for Hard Light and I may replace it if I come up with anything better.
Old Parliament house, Canberra. The projections make clever use of the shape of the building.
Canon Rebel 2000 camera, Canon EF28/f1.8 lens, Fujifilm Velvia 100 colour slide film.
Inspired to try this technique by an article in Practical Photography magazine (September issue) 'Frame your shots'. Used an old polaroid with the picture cut out and then held the frame in front of the pot of cyclamen. It was quite tricky to hold the frame and take the shot (using remote release). I was trying to throw out the focus of the flowers outside the frame, but not quite successful.
