On 28 September 2015, UNDP in Azerbaijan together with ADA University hosted a meet-up in the framework of the Social Good Summit 2015. The main goal of the event was to launch the newly adopted Sustainable Development Goals in Azerbaijan. With a theme “New Goals. New Power. New Ideas”, participants discussed the challenges, opportunities in the implementation of the #GlobalGoals and highlighted youth role as the mean of implementation.
UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Azerbaijan, Mr. Antonius Broek, Vise-President of ADA University, Mr. Fariz Ismayilzada and the Chairperson of the National Assembly of Youth Organizations, Mr. Shahin Seyidzade welcomed the participants and mentioned the importance of youth participation in achieving a sustainable world by 2030.
UNDP Deputy Resident Representative, Ms. Nato Alhazishvili presented 17 Sustainable Development Goals that has newly been adopted and led the discussion.

The deck framework is built using 2x8 treated pine and lots of Strong-Ties. The octagon shape presented a bit of an issue but it was worth the hassle.
In the framework of the National Model United Nations held in Azerbaijan on 20-23 February 2016, the simulation of the UN General Assembly on the case of strengthening of the UN system and reform of its main institutions was organised.
87 people participated in the simulation conference during four days. The sessions were moderated by Azer Abasaliyev and Turkan Mukhtarova. Two draft resolutions were submitted by the member states, one of which sponsored by Canada, Nigeria, France, United Arabic Emirates, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the United States of America, the People's Republic of China, Netherlands, Indonesia and Belgium was adopted by a two-thirds majority. As the result of the game, the participants were awarded with certificates. For their outstanding contribution to the committee the following delegates were awarded at the closing ceremony.

26-28 November 2024, Fayoum - Within the framework of the project to Improved Socio-economic Status, Food Security & Empowerment of Vulnerable Rural Communities in Minya Governorate, funded by the Norwegian government, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, held a training for 40 trainees for 5 days, with the aim of managing and implementing farmer field schools.
