Chamber: Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce member Don’s Pharmacy & Hallmark held their Official Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies for their new store at 100 East Fertitta Blvd. , Leesville
The new 7,500sq foot facility is on a lot that Don & Sarah Goins purchased over 10 years ago at the corner of South 5th Street & East Fertitta Boulevard .
Slate tile floors, drop off & delivery drive-thru window & an internal compounding lab are new features at Don’s Pharmacy. The Home Health Offices are also located within the new complex.
Don & Sarah Goins, children & grandchildren welcomed their guests and cut the ribbon inviting those in attendance inside for refreshments. A full 2-3 day Grand Opening ceremonies is planned for a later date.
What a great addition to the Vernon Parish business community the Goins Family has brought with this new Don’s Pharmacy, Don’s Hallmark & Home Health complex.
Two initial design frameworks were developed, each speaking to differing priorities. We soon realized a balance between Model A and B was needed to accurately apply Winaca’s desires while integrating sustainability, cultural incentive and pragmatics. Thus Model C was used throughout the design of the Living Quarters and should will be applied to future sections of the Design Center.
The deck framework is built using 2x8 treated pine and lots of Strong-Ties. The octagon shape presented a bit of an issue but it was worth the hassle.
