I used to see these brick shaping forms in India, where cowdung and straw were mixed and village women turned them out in the hot sun to bake hard to use for building. This one came from the south of England where similar forms were used for making bricks.
I found this one in a wonderful garden centre in the shade of the Humber Bridge, which previously was a roof tile workshop. The leftover broken tiles formed the pathways and the unbroken ones were stacked to make beautiful low walls around the carpark.

My friend Troy bought this at the Copake NY Bicycle Auction., and then I acquired it from him. Closest I can find is the late '30s "Oversize Tyre QO model." Many parts on this bike are not original but I'm not sure about the fenders and tire size relation. Early bikes and the QO seem to have this kind of clearance. Lepper saddle and New Departure hubs.

Here I am framing an old print from the 1950’s on the deck of our new vacation cabin in Carmel Valley. We and 102 other cabin owners have access to 2,600 acres of some of the most wild and beautiful landscape in central California. My wife and I have been looking for a special place just like this for years and it still doesn’t seem real. I will be exploring and taking lots of photos this spring when the furnishing and fixing up phase is over.

A Mogens Lassen sketch from 1943 forms the starting point for Frame,
a flexible storage solution comprised of square boxes in cubic frames.
Frame modules can be hung directly on the wall, connected together,
stacked, or stand on their own on the floor. Combine Frame modules
into a classic shelf, a unique sculpture or something entirely new. The
individual combination options are endless. Frame is manufactured
in Denmark and created with attention to detail. Frame unites
functionality, quality and aesthetics. You decide the ultimate look.

Even if you zoom in tightly, you will often find that large areas of the picture are wasted. A simple solution is to find something that will fill this unused space.
By changing the viewpoint, something as simple as an overhanging branch can be used to cover over a dull area—effectively creating a border around the image. This technique can be extended to provide a complete frame within the viewfinder...
It works well in dull weather to help counteract the effect of flat lighting.

I have had a hard time trying to scan this thing and it's still not right. Sorry, but this is the best I can do.
I also have had this clear set for a while now and this is the first time I have gotten it out to use.
HA CL 130 (Frames and Flowers)
LL 228 (Solid Flowers Flourish) used only a portion of this stamp.... it's the flower inside the frame. This is for that challenge about what to do with stamps we never seem to know how to use. Good grief! I forgot what NIFTS stands for. It must be old age catching up with me. Maybe someone will enlighten me.
Anyway thanks for looking.
