Our Daily Challenge: Natural Framing
My cute little four year old standing in his locker at school. I went up to school today to read to his preschool class and do some playing, it also afforded me the opportunity to take this shot.
Composite of three images.
One light setup. A Canon 580EX through octogonal softbox placed towards the right side of the camera for the main picture and for the one inside the bigger frame.
Two lights setup for the picture inside the smallest frame. A Canon 580EX through octogonal softbox placed towards the right side of the camera at 1/8th power and a Neewer flash bounced off of a white board placed towards the left of the camera at full power.
Sometimes you just see a backdrop that is so gorgeous and full of painting quality that you just need to frame it. :D
I love the grass in Emily's hair. Can you see it? The little details are what makes images special to me and I also hope, for you to. :)

Thank you Oliviero for your crop suggestion.
This photo was taken very fast, because I'm a little shy when I take shots of people without their permision. Later I was thinking that If I had a second thought, probably I could step 2-3 steps to right to avoid this motorbike and enhance a little the interestingness using the lines of the low wall.
The original format is normal 1.33/1.
I crop it like this (almost 1.90/1) to simulate somehow to a movie format. And I was thinking that if I was the cameraman, I had to zoom in to the "Final zoom in" frame I've put on photo.
Yes, maybe your suggestion works better for a photo.
I'm so sorry partner -- somehow I got mixed up on the due date and thought that today was the day to mail -- not Tuesday last. At least I did finish by the day that I thought I needed to finish. And I will get the pouch on its way to you by the end of the day today (have to wait for my husband to get home with the car so that I can get to the post office). I hope you love it enough that you don't mind the bit of extra wait!
