I don't like snow at all. But, there's nothing like going for a walk when snow is falling. It's sooo quiet that the only thing you might hear is your breath. Everything is white, clean and seemingly sterile. When our surroundings are covered in snow we see things differently. Ordinary every day items covered in a layer of snow create interesting shapes that sometimes are unrecognizable. What wasn't so interesting yesterday has an interesting new look today. As much as I say that I don't like snow I do a little, but just a little because there's something to be said about four seasons. Every new season brings something new.
Taken while being pursued by hordes of ravenous black flies, hope it was worth it :-)

----Introducing Freeze Frame Friday!----
This will be a weekly feature which will showcase moments that only a fast shutter can help us appreciate. You can expect to see anything from snowball catches and water splashes, to kicked up dust and loooong strings of drool radiating from flapping gums.
We hope you enjoy. Now let's lead things off with these two friends and their spirited game of chase!
The next theme for the Old San Juan group will be "Framed" - one of our group members suggested it as a possible theme and I like it.
This picture was taken looking out a turret at the San Cristobal fortress.
I am going away next weekend so this will actually be the theme for the next two weeks.

In this museum you can appreciate the beautiful Japanese garden through the glass. It looks like a framed painting.

A different perspective of the famous 3 brothers in yosemite. I like the roots of the tree in the foreground as it gives it some depth and the framing of the tree and branches.
! BOSS ENCOUNTER !
Adventurer, you must demonstrate your VALOR by conquering the ARBITER!
My take on a MOC using the #bignicle frame. It was loads of fun to build in a different style around a frame! And the frame is impressively sturdy and posable, so I took some more varied poses here, visible in the full album.
