My new analogue project "FRAGILE".
Photos taken in all belgium woods during winter 2011-2012.
Didn't find my place anymore in the city, so i went in the woods to find something i lost in the urban society where a lot of us interact.

had to edit this quickly to still have this be a HBW :)
today was a pretty lame day. kind of. i don't know.
i had to wake up suppppper early because i wanted
to go school shopping (school starts
in a week, AGHHH!) but i didn't get to go to sleep until
4:30AM. and i woke up at 8:30AM. that was horrible.
it's almost midnight now and i've been falling asleep
all day, i don't know how i've made it this far. i'm going
to be in horrible shape for school, there is no way im
going to be able to get through the day without falling
asleep. this should be fun.
today has been a "bright eyes" kind of day.
P.S. sorry i have been using so many textures lately...ahahahaha :)
These green shaded ones were taken in the shade of my new parasole!! I think they look sooo cool!!

taken today, waiting for the subway. just love the subway in new york city for photo-ops.
happy valentine's day, y'all. we are having a blast. off to nap, then dinner, then the play "billy elliot." hope you are well, and spending time with your loves in life, whoever and whatever who or they may be.
today's random fact: my husband and i do not really celebrate valentine's day. valentine's day is every day for us. that may sound cheesy, but we love and appreciate each other daily
this is day 45 of a year in pictures, 2009
Wildlife-Inspired Sculpture by Jeff Bell. Liquefied brass, copper and aluminum poured on steel sphere; found objects on bubinga base. Pedestal: reclaimed steel, glass.
Sunday, before noon, at the port of Argostoli, Kefalonia Island, Greece. Sky is cloudy, there is no wind and the sea is calm apart from the moments seagulls are diving. Reflections are very fragile...
This is a picture of a Ischnura posita on the South Tract of the Patuxent Research Refuge near Laurel, Maryland.
Sweet blonde hair that always smells like roses, tragic, with petals that fade and then fall in winter. Fragility. Fragile and delicate like a glass ornament that shatters when no one expects it. That time has come and the flowery creations of nature are blooming. Fragility always wanted that. Cloyingly spoiled and self-absorbed with too much beauty and youth made Fragility go rotten. She blossomed but faded into petals with the droppings of birds on the petalsโ red aura. Fragility was the prima ballerina and her job was to be as graceful and ladylike as possible using what was provided in the old wooden trunks filled with laces and ribbons. Her hair, light blonde like lilies and tied neatly in the back of her head. Another reason why she was picked in particular to be the ballerina was that her eyes were bigger than anyone else's. It was like her iris was overgrown and harbored a large pupil pleasing to the audience. "The living Doll" was what she was called.
Delicate mushroom appearing in our back yard every morning.

Nature seems to hold its breath, draped in a fragile layer of frost, as if bracing for the weight of the snow to come. Each branch carries the icy stillness of winter, waiting patiently for the sunโs warmth to bring it back to life. ๐ฟ
