338/365 – FRAGILE

Day 338 of the 365 Journey

I had two awesome delivery’s this week. My laptop came back from IBM and my replacement flashpoint monolight came! Talk about excited. TWO very important tools of my daily routine are now back in my possession! I used the new light for this shot.

It’s Friday evening, it’s been a long week and I’m going to bed early! I’m excited…..lol OK maybe not early, however I know I don’t have to get up at 5:45 in the morning.

Have a great weekend!

I am ill. I am ill since three weeks and I feel fragile. I will visit my doctor on monday.

Het einde van de bloei

Artwork inspired by STING, One of my favorite singers.

If blood will flow when flesh and steel are one

Drying in the colour of the evening sun

Tomorrow’s rain will wash the stains away

But something in our minds will always stay

Perhaps this final act was meant

To clinch a lifetime’s argument

That nothing comes from violence and nothing ever could

For all those born beneath an angry star

Lest we forget how fragile we are

On and on the rain will fall

Like tears from a star like tears from a star

On and on the rain will say

How fragile we are how fragile we are

On and on the rain will fall

Like tears from a star like tears from a star

On and on the rain will say

How fragile we are how fragile we are

How fragile we are how fragile we are

Since we are fragile… Let the COLOURS Rule your HEART- ART…

If I lived my life in sadness, I think I could always be as skinny as would make me content. I look at pictures from the most emotionally trying times, and the photos taken of me during these times of internal suffering are my most superficially beautiful.

.

funny enough, taken in Wolfburg, in Volkswagen's autoworld, in the Skoda pavilion :)))

True inner beauty. So fragile yet strong.

A little Ishnura is a bit loaded down with mites. It makes me wonder how many mites are in the water?

"Fragility" show at Strychnin gallery in Berlin.

Opening night June 11th.

i'll be writing about my experience on my blog soon!

the short version is, it was AMAZING and mindblowing! ♥

I took this shot when I was on field trip for work. Small detail all around, just we have to see the hidden beauty here and there. This dragonfly was on this fragile stand for long time. Background is a muddy yellow river.

When I took this shot I felt that world is so beautiful. Then when I look at this photo again and also feel that way.

FOR SALE!

www.etsy.com/listing/259005375/timber-the-little-deer-bal...

Meet Timber, the little deer Ball Jointed Doll. Timber is completely handmade by me, without the use of any molds. Each piece is carefully sculpted. It means it is an one of a kind creation, no copies were taken. It is a unique piece.

The doll is made out of cold porcelain, and air dry clay (that isn't fragile as the name "porcelain" suggests, but actually it is flexible). This material doesn't get yellow over the sun light, as resin does. Timber is a tiny little doll, measuring 15cm in height. It was painted with pastels and airbrushed, and sealed. It has pieces of felt in some joints to protect the painting. Faceplate, tail and antlers are attached with magnets, and the last one goes in two colors: white and brown. The eyes are handmade with cold porcelain clay and glass cabochons and can be changed if wanted, but no one fits better than the handmade ones, in the artist opinion. It has human eyelashes, that are glued on and can't be removed. The doll is able to stand by itself and a doll stand is not needed, in most cases. It has the ability to assume many positions, but it's only allowed to post five pictures on this announce, which aren't enough.

Artist words: "this is my second attempt to make an anthro doll (animal that stands in two legs). It was supposed to be a simple project, but I ended up making it very complex. I have started on June and finished in December. Therefore, I have spent six months working on this project. I made the face completely different from my normal style, and I must admit it came up lovely! With the additions of eyelashes for the first time, it was just the cherry of the cake. I have worked hard remaking and remaking pieces until I thought it was perfect. You have no idea of how much work and love were into creating this cute little thing. Timber is a male, in my opinion, but everyone thinks it is a female. I think it is still growing up to decide which one to be, and it's new owner will be able to help in this decision. For the first time I have made a beautiful custom box to go with the doll too, which is a great addition, in my opinion. Timber deserves a good home to go. Everyone who meets him fall in love with the cuteness, and I myself, every time I open it's box, can just say "awww". I am sure he will be a great addition to someone's collection, a truly unique piece."

Package content: Timber, the ball jointed doll fully assembled as in the pictures; a wooden box, covered in cold porcelain and painted, with all sorts of details and artist logo on, handmade by the artist; a cushion, sewn by a talented friend of the artist; a fabric bag, carefully sewn by the artist, a certificate of authenticity; instructions; extra pieces of felt; two pairs of antlers.

Timber is a name suggested by my friend Nuna Buzzato.

Pictures were taken by my friend Maira, which is a great photographer, and I was just bothered of my white background pictures! www.flickr.com/photos/delirium_of_the_endless/

I've been walking around all day, thinking

I think I have a problem, I think I think too much

I've been taught to hold back my tears and avoid them

but you've made pain into something I could touch

I've been walking around all day, laughing

Think I'd be better off without you here

And I bet you are sweet and hard to get over

So I'll cry and people will stop and stare

now that's ok, let them stop and stare...

coz I am fragile

I am hopeless

I'm not perfect

but I am free...

I've been walking around all day, waiting

and waiting is all I seem to do

'cause I never get it unless I'm fed it

but this time I'll just have to

yeah this time I'll just have to...

Say you're not around... am I finished?

If you're not around that's too bad

Hope you're safe and sound, not alone now

'cause you know I believe in you...

Handle with care...

Sometimes you don't realize how fragile until tagedy strikes... a dear friend of ours lost his wife this week... then my husband lost an uncle last night... kind of depressing.

Today it just happened. I felt inspiration, will, joy and the need to photograph. I got in that mode where time and hunger etc. no longer exists, you just snap photo after photo after photo.. love it.

Hope you do too!

“She seems so cool,

so focused,

so quiet,

yet her eyes remain fixed upon the horizon.

You think you know all there is to know about her immediately upon meeting her,

but everything you think you know is wrong.

Passion flows through her like a river of blood.

She only looked away for a moment,

and the mask slipped,

and you fell.

All your tomorrows start here.”
