Photo taken March 19, 2015 at False Kiva, a Class 2 Archaeology Site in Utah.
Please see the other photos of False Kiva on my Flickr page and learn about proper ettiquitte in visiting a Class 2 site BEFORE you go to any such fragile and sensitive place.
This photo is at a less traditional angle and reveals some of the rock scramble that must be descended to below the Kiva before making the several hundred feet climb back to this vantage point to enter the site.
Shot is at f16, 1/640th, ISO 800 pushed +0.7step at 11mm focal length, color corrected in photoshop and hand held.
48" x 72" if printed original size.

AAW: February 21 - 28: Fragile
I thought I would try to capture the fragility of tweens/teens. They are swinging between being happy, sad, angry, depressed, anxious and joyful. (at least the ones I know are swinging between those emotions)
I photographed my nieces, and they could not stop laughing... it took a lot of work to get serious, sad-ish looks from them tonight.
wit used a strobe on a black background. In PP, converted to black and white, increased clarity, added some noise.
A Fragile Forktail Damselfly was in dense vegetation along the trail at Kaercher Creek this afternoon.
What graces all these little crosses have been. They are the very best thing in our life here. It seems they are so small. They do their work. They are coming in greater abundance now. How God works on your soul by these obscure and unremarkable sufferings that cleanse and drain your wounds. I am glad of every kind of trouble I have had and thank God in advance for all the trials that are to come. Other more pleasant graces—minor orders—the writing job, to some extent. All the reading, all the hours of prayer. God has taught me to find myself more in Him or lose myself more: it comes to the same thing.

These blue & green fragile paper pieces are heaven on earth to me ... :-)
Have a fabulous start of your weekend!
found washed up by the sea. i think it is the breast bone from a bird - maybe a duck? it is always interesting to see what makes it ashore in one piece, so delicate and fragile, when other shells and bits get smashed to pieces in the waves.

I got love, I got so much love, love in my heart, and this feeling I can't let it go.
