AAW: February 21 - 28: Fragile

I thought I would try to capture the fragility of tweens/teens. They are swinging between being happy, sad, angry, depressed, anxious and joyful. (at least the ones I know are swinging between those emotions)

I photographed my nieces, and they could not stop laughing... it took a lot of work to get serious, sad-ish looks from them tonight.

wit used a strobe on a black background. In PP, converted to black and white, increased clarity, added some noise.

A Fragile Forktail Damselfly was in dense vegetation along the trail at Kaercher Creek this afternoon.

These blue & green fragile paper pieces are heaven on earth to me ... :-)

found washed up by the sea. i think it is the breast bone from a bird - maybe a duck? it is always interesting to see what makes it ashore in one piece, so delicate and fragile, when other shells and bits get smashed to pieces in the waves.
