worsted weight, 3-ply
The Bible says Adam lived at a place where four rivers emerged from a mountain. Four Rivers indeed merge at Al-Qurnah in Iraq. However, the there is no exclusive living tradition of Adam here. A plaque announces that Prophet Abraham said that a tree similar to that of Adam would grow here. That casts doubt whether Al-Qurnah was the Garden of Eden. The Bible tells of four rivers emerging from the Garden of Eden. We find four rivers emerging from Pushkar in India: Sagarmati, Saraswati, Nahar and Dai. Moreover, we have strong archaeological evidence that the place was inhabited from 200,000 years ago till present. We also have the living tradition of Brahma having undertaken creation here. Might Pushkar be the Biblical Garden of Eden? For more information please visit www.commonprophets.com/where-was-the-garden-of-eden-locat...

A fountain with a story...
When you got it... flaunt it!!!
One thing I learnt on my trip to Rome is how much the Romans liked flaunting their water supply. All fountains in Rome are powered by their ancient aquaducts [a remarkable engineering feat]... and just one fountain wasn't enough!!!
This here is the Four Rivers Fountain... a spectacular fountain in itself... but with a hilarious history - I highly recommend the self-guided walk in Rick Steves' travel guide. Ok... the history may not be 100% accurate... but it made us laugh :)
