I didn't even realize the time had changed until like 1 this afternoon when a co-worker mentioned it.
The Birmingham Magistrates' Court is a Magistrates' Court in Birmingham. It is currently in the Victoria Law Courts on Corporation Street
The Victoria Law Courts is a Grade I listed red brick and terracotta building that now houses the Birmingham Magistrates Court. It was designed by Aston Webb & Ingress Bell of London. It is faced in entirely deep red terracotta from the clay of Ruabon in North Wales.
The foundation stone was laid in 1887 by Queen Victoria, the year of her Golden Jubilee. It was built by Birmingham firm John Bowen and Sons. The court was opened in 1891 by the Prince and Princess of Wales (the future King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra).
Spotted that it said Forward on these parts of the Victoria Law Courts
I walk past here every day as I walk to and from work. (and sometimes to town and lunchtimes)

I made a cool and restless robot at Marin MakerSpace tonight, in a special class led by Dave Grenewestzki. This robot keeps moving forward until it senses an obstacle with its sonar, then it backs up, turns around and goes in another direction. It’s actually quite good at this, and you have to chase it around, as it comes up with some very hip moves that’ll keep you on your toes. And it's even more fun when you put a couple of these robots together in the same 'Roborena'. The robot is controlled by an Arduino with a motor shield, two motors, two sensors and two battery packs — and it will keep going forever, until it gets stuck or runs out of batteries. Next, I would now like to adapt a couple of these robots to move puppets on a stage, and see what happens when they start interacting spontaneously.
I really enjoyed meeting and learning from the folks at Marin MakerSpace: they were really helpful and fun to be with — and we got a lot done in a short time: I built my robot from scratch, got it working and took it home in just a couple hours. This is the first regular makerspace I’ve seen in Marin, and I’ve been looking for a while. They have meetups every Tuesdays at 6:30pm, in the Marin School campus in San Rafael. I definitely recommend their robotics class and look forward to going back, to visit or attend other classes. Learn more on their site: www.marinmakerspace.org/

Mount Pleasant is fortunate to have two original single screen movie theaters downtown. The Ward on Main Street has been owned by a local church for a number of years now and is used for their services as well as special events.

This was taken while traveling 55MPH on our way to Seaside, Oregon along the coast. This is just one of a series that were taken while the van was in motion. I like the effect of movement in the foreground and the background seeming still.
Taken west of Hillsboro, Oregon.
Step Forward by: Miguel Angel Martin Bordera from: Carros de Foc, San Vicente del Raspeig, Alicante, Spain year: 2017
Step Forward transmits the principles of consciousness and neighborly love, increased through Art. Euterpe is a giant teenage girl puppet who walks and talks, interacting with Burning Man’s participants to learn from them and to, tenderly, teach them her values. A young girl dreams of a better world in which everybody loves each other. One day she wakes up in an unknown place where she doesn’t really know if she is awake or in a wonderful dream. She watches in amusement all that takes place around her at the time she gets involved in Burning Man’s experience. Contact: info@carrosfoc.com

Conducting a collaborative research since 2012, Maria Andersson and Nancy Atakan study Turkey’s integration of Swedish physical culture practices as part of the modernization efforts in the early 20th century. Investigating the adaptation of gymnastics techniques and folkloric elements, the artists unfold narratives on Selim Sırrı Tarcan, the founder of physical education and the Olympics Committee in Turkey, as well as on the accomplishments of his daughters. Inspired by their life stories, the individual and collective works in Forward, March! explore the intertwined relationship between physical education and the emancipation of women in Turkey.
