i had a theme i had to shoot which was "capturing ambient light" and all i could think of was literally catching it and this is what happened haha

Kuntur Wasi es un sitio arqueológico que data del Formativo Inferior, se encuentra ubicado en el centro poblado del mismo nombre, en la provincia de San Pablo, en el departamento de Cajamarca, en el Perú.
Kuntur Wasi está construido en la cumbre de una colina conocida como La Copa, se compone de plataformas escalonadas, conjunto de cuartos cuadrangulares, plaza, plaza cuadrangular hundida con cuatro escaleras decoradas con monolitos en su último peldaño y estructuras funerarias

Alexander Calder (1898-1976), Araignée Rouge, acier peint Le séjour à Paris de Calder, artiste américain, figure majeure de l’art moderne, est décisif pour son travail. Ingénieur de formation et ayant déjà réalisé son célèbre Cirque, mise en scène réalisée à partir de figures faites de fil de fer, il intègre alors le groupe Abstraction-création. Ce collectif, fondé en 1931 pour contrer l'influence des surréalistes comprenait notamment Jean Arp, Robert Delaunay, William « Binks » Einstein, Piet Mondrian et Antoine Pevsner. Son travail s’oriente alors vers une double recherche, l’abstraction et le mouvement. Naissent ses fameux Mobiles, sculptures aériennes ainsi baptisées par Marcel Duchamp qui font de Calder un pionnier de l’art cinétique. L’Araignée Rouge appartient quant à elle à la série des Stabiles. Ces sculptures monumentales faites de plaques de métal soudées et boulonnées, réalisées pour l’espace urbain, s’opposent par définition aux Mobiles. Commandée en 1974 pour La Défense, elle répond, comme les Personnages Fantastiques qui lui font face, à une volonté délibérée de l’EPAD de placer sur l’axe majeur des œuvres monumentales d’artistes de renom international. L’enjeu est de valoriser l’image du quartier de La Défense en utilisant l’art contemporain pour lui influer une dimension internationale nouvelle. L’Araignée Rouge fait ainsi écho à sa cousine directe, le Flamingo de Chicago, mais aussi aux nombreuses œuvres monumentales de Calder telles que l’Homme de Montréal ou Four Arches à Los Angeles. Haute de 15 mètres pour 25 mètres de long, pesant plus de 60 tonnes, l’Araignée Rouge est composée de six panneaux verticaux soudés en usine puis assemblés sur place par boulonnage, les boulons ayant eux-mêmes été dessinés par Calder. L’ensemble est peint en rouge Calder, teinte mise au point d’après des gouaches de l’artiste. Comme la majeure partie des stabiles et mobiles de Calder, elle a été fabriquée par les Établissements Biemont à Tours d’après une maquette au 2/15 fabriquée par Calder. L’artiste, particulièrement attentif à l’aspect final de ses œuvres monumentales, supervisait toutes les étapes de la production et de la mise en place. L’œuvre a été dessinée pour l’emplacement où elle se trouve, choisi par Calder. Ses proportions et ses dimensions ont été déterminées sur plan et en maquette en fonction de l’espace urbain dessiné par les bâtiments encore en projet à la date de sa mise en place.
