Fotografia feta amb la meva càmera HF/Sinar 717 de ultra gran format 7x17 polzades; objectiu Schneider Kreuznach Symmar Convertible f5.6 360/620mm (en posició 360mm); pel·licula de rajos X Agfa Structurix D4, revelada en Rodinal.
Es tracta d'una càmera de ultra gran format (ULF), de 7x17 polzades (el gran format "normal" acaba a les 8x10 polzades), o 18x43 cm. Aquesta és la mida del negatiu! El fet de "no tenir nom" és que la estructura general, aixó com el frontal, son de la marca Sinar (models P i F2), mentre que la part posterior de fusta ha estat fabricada a ma i per encarrec per Filip Habart, de Praga. Per tant, suposo que he d'anomenar la càmera resultant com la HF/Sinar 717.
Aquest és el pont medieval de Castellbell i el Vilar, sota Montserrat, construit per Bernat de Sa Rocha el 1452 i està pràcticament intacte des d'aleshores (tot i que a la riba est hi ha els blocs de pisos de Can Burés).

Picture taken with my 7x17 inches HF/Sinar 717 ULF camera; Schneider Kreuznach Symmar Convertible f5.6 360/620mm lens (in 360mm configuration); Agfa Structurix D4 industrial X-Ray film, developed in Rodinal.
This is a 7"x17" ultra large format (ULF) camera (the "normal" large format ends at 8x10 inches). This is the size of the negative! The fact of "not having a name" is that the general structure, as well as the front standard, are from the Sinar cameras (models P and F2), while the wooden ULF back has been made by hand and to order by Filip Habart, from Prague. So I guess I have to call the resulting camera the HF/Sinar 717.
This is the medieval bridge of Castellbell i el Vilar, below the mountain of Montserrat, built by Bernat de Sa Rocha, lord of Castellbell, in 1452 and practically intact since then (although on the east bank there are the blocks of flats of Can Burés).

Homer's Iliad: Sing, O goddess, the anger of Achilles son of Peleus, that brought countless ills upon the Achaeans. Many a brave soul did it send hurrying down to Hades, and many a hero did it yield a prey to dogs and vultures, for so were the counsels of Jove fulfilled from the day on which the son of Atreus, king of men, and great Achilles, first fell out with one another.

a first 120 film development in coffee. I used a German description, agitate every 10 minutes was a bit too much for the highlights. High contrast negatives. Think I slow down the agitation next time

Becoming more familiar with large format I started a tour round my town on a sunny day to test the red filter.
I played with the focus point - it is exactly at the upper edge of the building. You can see it in full resolution.
