This mirror pond was just so pretty in the early morning light today... Went off to the country in search of some scenes and since I cannot hike with huge bandages still on my feet this pond in Kananaskis Country was very convenient :-)

Unfortunately not so good ones.... :(
My mami is in the hospital since last Thursday due to a Pneumonia... and yesterday she went into intensive care since she needed external help to breathe...
I am flying to Mexico tomorrow morning and I will be there for at least 6 weeks...
Please forgive me if I haven't been too participative with comments on your pictures but I am sure you understand me well...
See you soon my dear Friends, and I hope I will bring you back good news..
My love to you all,

The Forgetmenot massif is composed of a long ridge, connected by a col to Forgetmenot Mountain. The ridge has two high points, the "Lookout" area and the north peak, with its delightfully large cairn (a sign this part of the ridge is closest to the trailhead parking area). We've been putting Lookout in quotes because it was Forgetmenot Mountain that had the fire lookout, not the place on the ridge modern hiking maps call the "Lookout." On this walk, we covered around 24 km's return distance, gaining, with all the ups and downs, over 1200 m's, taking about 8 hours to do so.
Field forget-me-not (Myosotis arvensis) flowers (and buds).
Niezapominajka polna (Myosotis arvensis) – kwiaty (i pąki).
The actual summit of Forgetmenot Mountain is quite a distance from the trailhead at the Little Elbow Recreation area, and so we often content ourselves with shorter hike by going to a high point on the mainly broad ridge leading to it. That ridge connects the summit Forgetmenot Mountain to its North Peak, which is on prominent view from the highway leading to the Little Elbow Recreation Area. On this hike we walked around 17 km's return distance, gaining a smidge over 1000 m's of elevation with all the ups and downs added up, taking 6 hours 15 minutes to do so.
As more and more friends reach the transition to the other side, the Forget Me Not and its blueness bring back memories of many lost, but not forgotten
Im sorry my dear fkicr friends that I am very busy photgraphing and therefor not able to comment back and look at your works as much as would like. Im making the most of the summer light and colors as long as they last in the short summer in Iceland.
