Foreground branch removed as suggested by Barrows-Young. It does improve the picture. Thanks

I selected a focal point on frame right using AF (autofocus) point selection.

makes a BIG difference

Foreground to background, that's "Milky-Way", "Art Mooterials", and "Sunshine+Rain = Rainbow".

This is of a bamboo rod in the medical herb garden. I think it was used as a post to prob up a plant. I originally wanted to pull focus to the inside if the bamboo while having everything outside blurred, but it was too dark inside, so i changed it to the rim to accentuate the wood look.

Fourth in a series of pictures of what's right in front of me.

This photo fits requirement 1 because the focus is on the foreground. This photo also fits requirement 3 because it is a picture of a plant. I took this photo during the walkabout during quiz section. I didn’t have a macro lens but I used a different lens than the lens I’ve used for the past two assignments. I am not sure what this plant is but it was interesting to me. Since it was bright outside, I didn’t feel the need to adjust the aperture or ISO. The f/stop is 6.3 because at the lens and zoom that I was at, that was the lowest I could adjust to. I tried to keep a steady hand and put this plant in the middle my screen where this lens tends to focus better.

In post processing, All I did was crop the bottom half of the photo because I liked it better this way.

When auto-focus just doesn't cut it...
