A zeppelin lighter... seems a little forboding

This forboding fellow adorns the doorway to a home in Fitler Square. I'm always on the lookout for gargoyles, so a griffin is the next best thing.

Waiting for a bus across the street from Target in Somerville. Not the friendliest place for a bus stop - it requires crossing several lanes of unchecked traffic and waiting in a fairly deserted area. At least it has a well-lit shelter (though the area around the shelter is dark and forboding).

Cal contemplated the forboding Portella de Baiau and a window in the weather - the guidebook sugested only attempting the pass in the morning due to afternoon thunderstorms. We crack on at 15:00, "rememebring that there was waht looked like a bothy next to Rfg. Compedarosa" on the other side.

Excuse #1: Yesterday we drove to Fort Collins. I took photos the whole way there. The sky was dark, forboding and a stunning blue grey. Yet somehow light was eeking out from behind them and creating the most stunning contrast. I was really excited to experiment with the results. But when I got home my computer couldn't read any images off my compact flash. I tried putting it back in the camera and they had vanished! I'm particularly disapointed because there was a red cow trailer I had hoped to play around with in Photoshop. Alas..,,, but it encouraged me to edit an old photo that I'd never uploaded and I'm pretty satisfied with the result! by Kristy Rowe aka moodeous
