The boring boy prepares herbal tea, part 1: I think we can say that large tripods don't work well in small kitchens.
I had a craving for Chik'n nuggets and so I whipped up a batch of these yummies!!
With the help of my foodprocessor and mixer here they are.
I used 2 cups of water
1tbsp of Not Chicken vegetarian stock bouillon
2 cups of dry TVP crumbles
some tarragon and Mrs. Dash grill seasoning to taste.
Then after reconstituing I placed in the food processor and pulsed to the till well blended. Still somewhat chunky but smaller pieces.
I added this to a mixing bowl and added 1/8 cup of whole wheat flour and an egg substitute the equivalent of one egg.
Then I mixed these together used a spoon and shaped the mix into nugget shapes. I dipped them into a seasoned flour and put them in some canola oil in the fryer for about 2 mins.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce
I left the stems in for the cilantro since I was running low knew they'd be well chopped in the food processor anyway.

Mmm, refreshing.
Recipe from Hedonia. I doubled the recipe but still was able to make the entire batch in my newly refitted* enormous Cuisinart, otherwise known as The Beast.
* One of my supers fished it out of the trash and left it on my kitchen counter while I was out. After I got over being freaked the fuck out by that, I ordered a bunch of replacement parts for it (three new blades and a new pusher assembly). It has an interesting little tic of bleating just as it's plugged in, but otherwise it works fine.
Basil, garlic, pine nuts, olive oil and salt in the food processor, about to become pesto (parmesan and butter added later).
More pictures of making pesto and the recipe (in Icelandic).
Food photography is a still life photography genre used to create attractive still life photographs of food. It is a specialization of commercial photography, the products of which are used in advertisements, magazines, packaging, menus or cookbooks. Professional food photography is a collaborative effort, usually involving an art director, a photographer, a food stylist, a prop stylist and their assistants. In advertising, food photography is often – and sometimes controversially – used to exaggerate the attractiveness or size of the advertised food, notably fast food.

I love calendars that illustrate food. This one displays Basil for September.
Wage and Ice Bat examined my new food processor that arrived yesterday. They are still in the kitchen talking about how good it fits into my small kitchen and what kind of food they can use it for. I heard "cookies" being mentioned in many variations.
Finally went out and got a food processor. So excited! First up was a roasted tomato soup (which I really could have made in the blender). I went the healthy route though and made it without the grilled cheese topping. sigh. Someday I'll try it the naughty way :)
