A foggy 1st of June

Photographed from a trail in the La Crosse Blufflands, a land preserve in La Crosse County, Wisconsin.

One of a couple of kayakers on the lake in the thin layer of morning fog. Had focus issues but still fun to watch them enjoy the quiet mood of the slightly foggy lake which they nearly had all to themselves.

We've been having a lot of fog in our little town of Osoyoos due to a thermal inversion, so I decided to drive up Anarchist Mountain to see it from above. This is a little slice of light between the fog below covering our town of Osoyoos, and the clouds above at sunset.

Fog overcomes a house in Arlington, Washington. I saw this beautiful sunset after rounding a curve on the highway last Sunday night and pulled off the road to set up my tripod. I was completely engrossed in getting the right focus, etc, when I was startled to find a policeman standing behind me. I asked if I was in trouble for trespassing, and he answered, "No. I was just going to say that this is one hell of a shot."

Bay Area has been greeted with dense fog for the last few mornings.

The fog was thicker than it looks here. So thick we couldn't see the light on the other end even past the half way point. This tunnel also has a slight curve at the end.
