She was a beauty to shoot (with camera, lol). But, fast and not easy to grab a solid focus. Once in awhile, I lucked out, though. hahaa
I was happy to see this chickadee fly in and start picking at a cattail. It let me photograph it for quite awhile before flying off

Prayer flags at Kunzum La at 4590 m. All vehicles do their ritual circumambulation of this spot before they move onward in their journey. This is also the first spot where I realized the altitude hit me. However, I could not miss this panaromic view of the Bara Sigri Glacier
She was ready to flee at a moments notice as lawn was being mowed. Constantly fluttering her wings and I just got really lucky getting the wings so still. Picture before and after wings are totally out of focus.

We are looking across Pyramid Lake at the last fluttering ribbons of clouds lit by the setting sun. The half moon will follow the sun shortly.

I'm wearing their "Aeris" dress and "Angela" wings. Emmy is wearing the "Black magic" dress in plum! She is also wearing the "Blooming fae" wings which are in the gacha. This lantana in my garden started out slowly, but is now flourishing and drawing visitors, like this black swallowtail. These butterflies rarely stop fluttering, which makes photography tricky.
Distinctively marked, found in Northern tropics and East coast of Australia. Also occurs in New Guinea and the Torres Strait. Perched in the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens in Brisbane.
