Here's just a little silly poem that was stuck in my head when I woke up this morning. Flutter your way through this Thursday. There are only 2 days to go until the weekend. :o)
Oh the joy of opening a rarely used purse and finding a £20 note inside.
Today the We're Here group members are overjoyed to find the Unexpected and Hidden .
If ever one of us opened a birthday or Christmas card and found a note inside, Dad would exclaim 'Flutter, flutter' it became a family thing.
The LEGO Flutter from the Mega Man Legends video game series has been updated with a new exterior! It is now more proportional and accurate to the games.

Shot in the summer at the Royal Botanical Gardens. I am fond of the motion throughout this composition. I got in trouble for this one as I had to step on a low Heather bush to get the right angle....they are super hardy however!

Butterflies go fluttering by…
On colored wings that catch the eye…
On wings of orange, and silvery blue…
On wings of golden yellow, too…
Butterflies float in the air…
Making their homes most anywhere…
The rainforest, field, and prairie land…
On mountaintops, and desert sand…
If winter brings the cold and snow…
To warmer climates, off they go…
Returning home the following spring…

The Paper Kites are the biggest size butterfly in Taiwan and fly the slowest too. I practiced my shooting skill by them. I can shoot the the other species thanks to them. Whenever watching them fluttering among flowers, my thoughts fly with them too. What a happy and beautiful world we are living!

In Krider Garden, Middlebury, Indiana. Traveling the Quilt Garden trail, part of the Heritage Trail in Northern Indiana.
Rather thrilled when we found a couple of these fluttering about. These are named more for the voracious larvae, according to Wikipedia. Too much information to add it all in here, but well worth checking it out. I believe we have these in UK on Jersey and perhaps Sussex. They don't fly far and are weak fliers at the best of times so was able to capture a fair amount of shots, but they are not that easy to shoot, I found. Unfortunately the many I took with the Canon are poor. This individual obligingly sat on the side of a discarded breeze block so I could take some head on shots, otherwise again the camouflage made it difficult for the cameras to focus. Plus was quite happy to pose on my hand, where it was better contrasted.

Graphic Flutterer (Rhyothemis graphiptera). We were mezmerized by this gorgeous dragonfly. It floated delicately on the breeze above our heads and we watched it for at least 10 minutes. Thankfully, it perched close enough and for long enough for me to get a shot. What a stunner! [Cumberland Plain, NSW]
