My first FLUFF spin! Also, my first low-twist single!
4 oz. Merino, "Arenal"
320 yds. bulky single, slightly fulled
spun on a 5:1 ratio on my Schacht Ladybug
I took a class last month at The Spinning Loft with Amy King (Spunky Eclectic) on spinning singles, and I've been wanting to really give it a go ever since. But I couldn't find my slow whorl for the longest time. Finally located it and got to spinning - I can't believe how fast this went. I *loved* spinning it and am happy with the results.
This skein was ridiculously hard to photograph - I really struggle with capturing reds well. This was the best shot I got but still not great - the colors include reds, oranges, really hot pink, and a touch of green/brown. A great yarn for fall.

Fluffer's been spending too much time in the conservatory, so we gave her a bit of a time out. Here she is trying to get the door open (before I opened it myself).
Made out of rice krispie treats, this is a replica of an actual somerville building. The building is a leftover from the revolutionary war. I think. I went on a history walk one time but the details have grown fuzzy.

This little girl is all fluff, she is not fat by any means. I love how comfortable she is with me. I wish I could make her a part of our family.
