I believe that this is an immature female rufous hummingbird (selasphorus rufus).

Everyone should have some nice hummingbird shots; everyone probably does ...

Zenit acid dye for wool.

A wool (called Fluff) overdyed in the micro owen.

The yarn was dyed like this, in the ball. Then dryed for two days in a warm place.

Calgary has a lot of poplar trees, and they have started shedding their fluff, possibly triggered by the rains.

I saw this fluff and thought it was pretty sweet. It was really windy and it just kind of, hung on. Resilient ball of fluff.

This fluff is a rare fluff. I've only made this style once before. He's shorter like a runt sized fluff, but wider.

He is about 2.5 inches tall and 3 inches wide.

He's made of a purple faux fur.

His face was hand painted by me using artist quality acrylics and sealed with a matte varnish.

Fair Oaks at 22nd Streets... I can almost never resist photographing a Volkswagen. The crosswalk stripes and the Fluff and Fold cinched this one.

In school today was the final day of National Reading Week. The theme this year was Monsters so we all had to dress up as monsters. I was all pink and my twelve eyes came in very handy from spotting mischievous children! The children loved the fluffy slippers as well.

Fluff (187/365)

So I went out to take photos with my friend Michelle today :) We explored a bit of richmond hill and discovered that some of the conservation areas have an entry fee so we went to one that didn't The part was actually a bit underwhelming because the pond/body of water that was there stank and looked like it was mostly dry. On the plus side there were baby catfish :D They're awesome.

Any way this is probably my favourite photo of the day there are 2 other from the area in the comments sections. So again

Tail fluff is now starting to change, and the first real feathers appear to be sprouting through.
