This cock pheasant (phasianus colchicus) on Snipe Island in Totnes looked as though it was feeling the morning chill.
Sam bought some marshmallow fluff for her Peep diorama. There was a ton left so we've enjoyed it on some chocolate ice cream. Delicious!

When I'm on cat feeding duty for the Kranz family's cats I take the opportunity to get some photos! This is Fluff. She's an old lady now, but as conversational as ever and can still be tempted to play with string.
This was hard work! I had the tripod set up on my lawn and I picked a load of dandyclocks and set the timer and blew! I didn't catch a single one 'in action'-these were all just stuck together but they look like they're about to take flight.
My lawn will have soooo many dandelions next year-lol!
Went to the Lincoln Park Zoo this weekend, it was pretty fun. I'm always ambivalent about zoos...they can be great educational tools, but I always feel bad for the animals :(
This guy kept doing this funny fluff up thing like he was pissed off lol
It's Springtime and Fluff spends more and more time in the garden.......Once the young birds are around, he will be "confined to barracks".

Brrr. . The pretty snow bird has it's feathers fluffed to the max to brace against a cold snowy morning.sf
As we were wandering around we noticed a couple of women collecting little bits of white fluff that as falling from the trees. It turns out its some kind of cotton like material which they use to stuff pillows!
We were trying to show my sister (my maid of awesome) how to fluff the dress, so she could do it at the appropriate time in the ceremony. However, the wind was so intense that it blew through the door we kept open, and kept messing up my train until we gave up. I think it lay out full and pretty for about 45 seconds during the ceremony.

The bigger one of the two "boys" who visits our yard is across the street fluffing up.
I may not always have time to answer or acknowledge your visit here or any comments you leave but rest assured I will try to get back as quick as I can. I will thank you now in advance.
Best viewed large, the bigger the better!!

The micro fluff is the newest (and smallest!) member of the Pocket Fluff family!
This little one is about 1 inch tall and 1.5 inches wide.
He's made of a purple faux fur.
His face was hand painted by me using artist quality acrylics and sealed with a matte varnish.
Pocket Fluffs are able to stand on their own. :)
The Pocket Fluff Monsters are made from my original design.
****Please Note:
The micro pocket fluffs are VERY small. I only recommend this size for adult collectors.****
Some more close-ups of the cygnets, taken on Sunday morning, when they would have been 3 days old.
More shots in the comment, the last one taken last Friday - 1 day old.
I'm going to be busy with my grandsons, so won't have time to post or comment for a few days. Thanks, as always for your kind comments and I'll catch up as soon as I can.
