Oh my goodness, you guys. I can't stop SQUEEEEing over the custom cyclops fluff I just completed!
I think all the Cuddles of fluffs need to have at least one cyclops in them from now on. ;)
. . . Like many photographers during the recent blizzard, I am stuck indoors and turned my attention to shooting birds at the feeder! Here a Blue Jay fluffs down feathers around his feet and almost up over his head. So I guess you could say he has his boots and hood on!

This fluff is a rare fluff. I've only made this style once before. He's shorter like a runt sized fluff, but wider.
He is about 2.5 inches tall and 3 inches wide.
He's made of a purple faux fur.
His face was hand painted by me using artist quality acrylics and sealed with a matte varnish.
Pocket Fluffs are able to stand on their own. :)
The Pocket Fluff Monsters are made from my original design.
love the label. A friend bought this for me in New York a couple of years ago. I think its gone bad? the substance seems to have separated within!

This is a variation of honey whip made with pomegranate molasses. The fluff is made from mostly spiced pomegranate molasses but the key ingredient is a soy protein branded under the name Versawhip (available at Willpowder). It has twice the aerating capacity of egg whites and can be used in place of egg whites or egg white powder in many preparations. It’s also vegan which is convenient if you’re a vegan or serving vegans. This is good as a spread, a filling, and can even be used as a low fat frosting.

My first baby session... I worked REALLY hard for these shots; I would have never guessed how complicated it is to get good pics of babies! Boy, do I know now! lol
I love how this little Bunny turned out. While stitching her mouth, it just ended up being a cute little smirk. I love when dolls naturally take on their own little personality. She looks like she's got something going on.
Fluff is a bigger doll, measuring at 4.25" tall. But she's so sweet! Sadly she took up all of the yarn I had on this skein and since there was no label, I won't likely be able to recreate her.

Another Bohemian Waxwing that we saw near the Bow Valley Ranch, Fish Creek Park, on March 3rd. They were there briefly in huge numbers and almost constantly on the move. I was lucky enough to catch two of them sitting still long enough to capture them. They usually are very sleek birds, but were very fluffed up on that day.
