Rubber advertising figures made to be placed in shop windows and displays for Hoover vacuum cleaners- apparently they featured on a television advert (1960s?)- though why dust is green and fluff is orange I have no idea!
This Common Yellowthroat took a moment to fluff out her feathers. Glad to catch her portrait in just the right moment. It was a brutally humid and hot day so she may have been trying to cool off a bit. I sure was!
I found them both under the bed having last minute deep conversation. Just waiting for the hairdresser to fluff up Floss' hair and we will be ready to go!!!

This fluff is the "runt size" so he's a bit smaller than the regular fluffs.
He is about 2.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide.
He's made of a white faux fur.
His face was hand painted by me using artist quality acrylics and sealed with a matte varnish.
