This little guy has had a tough year. He was diagnosed with having a heart murmur. This summer we discovered he had bladder stones and needed to have surgery to remove them. That’s when he we found out he has a heart murmur. We had the surgery and he made it through ok. A few months later, they found two new stones. He is 10 yrs old and we are not sure if he would make it through another surgery. He is my sweet little fluff of love who makes me smile everyday. Here he is posing with that winning smile of his. I hope he makes you all smile like he does me😊
Finally got around to finishing this wig. I might take it apart and replace the dreads... haven't decided yet!
It's really growing on me though.

I do like a fluffy jumper but this one is beyond a joke when it comes to sheading clumps of the fluffy stuff.
it was all over the dance floor and my dance partner and of course me.
when I got home and took the sweater off I looked like a yeti with all the fluff it left behind on my body.
A canada goose gosling at Charnwood Water, Loughborough, I couldn't find any of the four today. Looks like the swans eggs have failed to hatch, she was still on the nest last week but seems to have abandoned it, unless they were really well hidden somewhere. I just tried to edit a video pretty much for the first time, made some little adjustments and it took an hour and forty five minutes just to ' create ' it ! Nevermind the time it took to put on Flickr, when I finally got it on here I realised I'd completely ruined it, grrrrrr.......

I swore I wasnt going to take any more dee shots but, i couldnt resist with the morning light and she/he sat there looking so cold waiting for seeds.
This cracks me up. This Least Tern (known as Tommy the Tern) is so used to me now he stands on my towel that I lay on to photograph during my belly shots! He was so close that I do not think even my 18 - 55mm could get him! He was inches from my face! He loves being sung to (I know -- really weird but he likes my singing voice). When I start to sing, he walks up to me in a slow methodical pace, mesmerized and stands there waiting for me to repeat the song over and over.
The Fluffer-naught is an indestructible force of fluffy power. Heavily armored, he charges into battle like a walking tank, bashing through barriers and firing high caliber rounds.
Took a walk with some friends in one of the back fields of Sunderland. Shot beautiful farm scenes of fields of cauliflower, barns, foliage, but what really caught my eye (of course!) were the milkweed pods bursting forth the seeds of next years 'baby' monarch butterfly food! ;o) I finally released (for real) my last one yesterday. The Rosy Pipit (Anthus roseatus) is a high-altitude passerine of the Himalayas, typically found in alpine meadows, boulder fields, and glacial valleys. In the breeding season, it shows a subtle pink wash on the breast, fading to streaked browns in winter.
