Acres of Ranuculus flowers are planted yearly in the town of Carlsbad. Such a beautiful display of colors brings delight and joy to many!
Spring-like weather comes early here in Southern California. That means the flower fields have started to bloom. That means that the harvesting work has begun. While most of the flowers are used for seed production, some are cut for sale- a hard, labor intensive job. This shot is part of a series I'm doing on the workers entitled "Working the Fields.
