It was not so much the actual painting that warranted this picture being included in the online album, but that when Henry (age 4) was asked what this is a painting of, he responded, "It's a pyroclastic flow."

In cine-scope.
All these pictures were taken during a photo expedition with Raffaella on September 17, 2005. I then spend several hours editing 66 pictures of the over four hundred taken. We made a point of bringing along different costumes as well as two cameras, lenses, flashes, etc. The fall colours were perfect for the shoot and we found some favorable locations. Enjoy.

Where the walls and fortifications surrounding Bremen once stood has now been converted to a picturesque park. The green area, carefully landscaped and dotted with flower beds, also has a moat meandering as it runs through, marking the old perimeter of the city. The Mühle am Wall windmill which sits on the former fortifications was built in 1699 to grind flour.
Whilst I was adamant I wanted to do the complete Maligne Canyon trail, my daughter had other ideas - falling asleep in the car. I investigated the first 3 bridges from the main canyon car park but came out later in the evening to see Fifth (and Sixth) bridge The difference in the water flow at each bridge is amazing.
