Loch Chon, Trossachs: the outlet of the loch to the Water of Chon.
Given that the Water of Chon flows, via Loch Dhu, into Loch Ard, which outlets to the River Forth, a reasonable argument may be advanced that THIS is the de facto source of the River Forth and not the outlet from Loch Ard.
So you think you got it all figured out
All this money in the bank and [people] all about
Well, now, whatcha gonna do when your ship starts to sink?
Caught in a monstrous sea and you won't be able to think
Yeah, and it's there you'll learn what I know
That all of this world will fade
You gotta learn to let it all go
And flow like the river
Trip along the Gulf of St Lawrence coastline... Stopped at Riviere-au-Tonnerre for sunset, watched the ebb and flow from waves, enjoyed listening to the sound from the waves …
There was no cell signal driving from Sept-Iles to Havre-Saint-Pierre, few residents along the coastline, really felt remote…
There was an episode: we drove inside of the one-way unpaved road from the coastline, in aboriginal area, the car stuck in the muddy road… we even thought we stuck here for the rest of vacation… finally out of the mud, decided to return to the same road…
Another episode: the waves got stronger and stronger at sunset time, almost pulled me to the sea… quickly moved back to a big stone at the back, all went well …
Have a wonderful weekend!

This river floods and flows towards a large rapids. Together they roar with tremendous force. There are only few colors in nature in early spring in Finland, so the color of the water is dazzling.

Still in Sogið in full flow
I have seldom seen this gorge in full flow since I was six years old. Today I wisited a small walley in the gorge, where I can sit on a rock with the water almost at my toes
Loch Badanloch is one of three interconnecting lochs which gather waters from the moors on the southern edge of the Flow Country
I went back to the Adirondacks Sunday, specifically the Moose River Plains. They are past peak now but that's when I like to concentrate on streams with the fallen leaves all around. The Moose River Plains has tons of those and there was a nice rain the night before making for good water flows.
I hope everyone enjoys this image! :D
I have so many photos of water flowing, from water falls to streams and bubles floating down stream but nothing NEW. New rule to shoot a new photo so I did. Park across the street has a water park called "Kids Town" this is "The Bucket" it fills with water, then when full it pours out like a waterfall. (NOT for the really young ones as it would knock em over)
Had a feeling would be lots of water fall, waves and things like that so I did something different. (close to home as well)

in namenloser, versteckter Bach im Thüringer Wald.
A nameless, hidden stream in the Thuringian Forest.
Lost in flow,
with thoughts swirling and streaming --
over, under, and around the rocks.
Lost in time,
as shadows creep ever so closer to the cackling night.
Lost in silence,
to the symphony of rushing water as the world fades away.
Found once more,
the harmonies of mother nature shining her dappled light.
Alone in the lower cascades of Vogel State Park in North Georgia. On this day, the water was flowing like long silvery hair. Wishing everyone a great day ahead! Thanks for the favs and kind words. They are much appreciated!

After traveling quite a bit around Europe and US and having visited lots of small and big cities, i realized that those that really catch my attention are the ones that are built either next to the sea/ocean or those that have a river flowing through them. And i think it makes sense, as the water element makes the whole scenery fresher. As you walk by a river, you feel the flow, your mind travels with the water. As you are reaching the sea, your eyes go far to the horizon and you take deeper breaths. Nashville, TN does have a river flowing through it and the city is booming around it. Here you can see Cumberland river and Nashville's skyline on a cold but lovely November night. I was hoping that there would be some clouds on the sky, however the strong wind blew them off and let the city shine.
