In this photograph, I wanted to capture the very essence of architectural movement. The tight framing on these black and white curves transforms the architecture into a pure abstract composition. I deliberately chose to eliminate any context to preserve only this undulating rhythm that evokes a perpetual flow. The black and white treatment amplifies the power of contrasts and emphasizes the sculptural dimension of these lines that seem to float in space. My intention was to reveal how architecture can transcend its function to become a graphic artwork where geometry and light combine in a silent dance.
Jenolan Creek, Blue Mountains. Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EF 16-35mm f2.8L II, Hoya ND x400 filter, ISO 250, f8 at 75 seconds.

I'm really into taking macro shots of grass lately. I just love it but for some reason feel a little hesitant about posting them...I guess because they're a little different and have a more abstract look. (don't know) Hope you enjoy this!
Oh, I couldn't figure out which one I liked better. This one is the orientation that I shot, the one below in comments, I flipped upside down. I like both and had a really hard time deciding which one to feature first! I kept going back and forth.

My local creek after heavy rains.
From the house we can hear the water roaring over the waterfall and downstream so before the heat and snakes I scrambled down to get some shots with my new 'toy' OMD5MkII/12-40 f2.8
didnt take tripod, balanced on a rock using timed exposure.
Water, freezes, drips and flows.
It matters not where it goes.
Even the ice ebbs and flows.
Why then, would it not recognize
when it sees itself in us.
For within us water too flows.
This frozen water looking back at me,
it knows, it knows.
That in me its reflection shows.
