Its rained all flippin day, so I have resorted to taking photo`s of Jens flowers and playing with them in photoshop, here`s hopeing the weathers better tomorrow?

Took the GoPro out for a spin last night. It was great to get back out on the water and it looks like we just might be switching gears into summer weather...SAWEET :)
So this morning I decided to take up the {CarLee} challenge and attempt a sunrise... In below freezing conditions I might add.... So after 45mins of finger freezing temperatures I managed to actually press the shutter release and got a few shots... A few more may follow in the forthcoming weeks.... From THIS morning I might add, I'm not getting up early again... ;)
Only a couple miles away from the yard limits of Cotter, the southbound Cotter All-Purpose passes through the small town of Flippin, Arkansas on the MNA Aurora subdivision.
Quick solo trip out tonight to blow off some steam from the week, early start and finished by 6.30ish which was great, got to love winter for lightpainting ;)

At the corner of Dundas Street and Winniett Street at the West end of the downtown core of Woodstock, stands a food truck, Flippin Mikes. Still closed and awaiting more summery weather and sporting a fresh paint job in brilliant red with black trim, I could not pass up a capturing a few shots. It is a Red Rule subject, after all. - JW

Tech Details:
Taken using a hand-held Nikon D7100 fitted with an AF-S DX Nikkor 18-105mm VR lense set to 48mm, ISO250 (Auto ISO), Shutter Priority mode, f/4.8, 1/320 sec. PP in free Open Source RAWTherapee from Nikon RAW/NEF source file: set final image size to be 9000px wide, adjust the colour balance to be slightly warmer than as shot (5151K), adjust the Tint to ad a bit of green/remove magenta to clean up the red, enable Shadows/Highlights and boost the shadows to bring up some of the detail in the black metalwork, apply a very small amount of noise reduction, sharpen (edges only), save. PP in free Open Source GIMP: select the red portions of the image using the select-by-colour tool and copy this to a new transparent layer above the base image, increase the contrast and decrease the brightness using the brightness/contrast tool to help bring out the texture in the red areas without impacting the black metalwork, create new working layer from visible result, sharpen, save, scale image to 6000px wide, sharpen slightly, save, add fine black-and-white frame, add bar and text on left, save, scale image to 2048 wide for posting online, sharpen slightly, save.
Clearly lost, Mario Coaches, Volvo B8RLE MCV eVoRa, MA23RYD attempts to get through an impassable road for large vehicles, coming to a stop on a narrow corner that develops into an impossibly tight right bend ahead of the bus, a bend that even some car drivers might balk at.

This is what my daughter and I got up to late Saturday afternoon!
First off, this is way way harder than I imagined, and i'm not totally happy with the background which is my backyard of concrete and weeds! But I will say I am glad I did it outside...what a mess we made!! And how much milk did we waste!? I may post a collage of all our failures in a bit, got mother coming to dinner in a minute so I may have to stop playing on my pc - antisocial apparently!
Oh, and the mug is mine - it says "Flippin Mental"!!

Edit-Haha yes I do in fact know my eyebrows aren't symmetrical. If you haven't noticed in my previous photos my entire face isn't symmetrical. I can't change my bone structure sorry :P
