I was taking apart another LCD display to get at some parts. In the process, I cracked the LCD, which was fine as I had no need for the unit.

Flexing the broken display gave me a nice display of color waves, so I filmed it to show others.

The way this Brush thick-knee puffed out its feathers gave the impression of sculpted muscles. The aura of 'don't mess with me' was momentarily punctuated by the determined look in its eye. For a second I worried that I had inadvertently ventured too close, but then the Brush Thick-knee calmly returned to preening its feathers.

Kc is such a blast to shoot with - she's very versatile, funny, extremely athletic and flexible and pretty gorgeous too. I took these photos at one of our garage sessions in the dark days of December. Great shoot and looking forward to shooting with her again soon!

I took these photos in December 2019 in Star, Idaho.

I asked the model, who was a dancer, how she warms up before her shows and this is one of the many poses she came up with.

I tried doing the same. Trust me, its much harder to do than it seems.
