Find the coolest temperature you can stand in the shower and keep it there. Hot water can dry out your skin. Keep a shower to 10 minutes or less for the same reason. (WebMD)

I just learned that 2 teams have already advanced to the conference finals after my 48 hours of radio silence. It's time to flex your muscle again LBJ, let's destroy the Pacers and ungrateful Bird. GDP and all the great bench players, let the thunder pay this time. Fuck the leagure and those ridiculous referees. Let's bring back the 2013 finals again!

Thank you everyone for visiting, commenting and fav'ing - very much appreciated! Press "L" for better view and "F" if you like it!

Coach Tom explains why and how an arrow bends when released from the bow. My son is hooked on archery, I am more hooked on HDR photography. Tom works for a National Geographic company - I wish to meet some NG photographers some day.

Flexity Outlook #4474 is westbound on the 501 Queen line and is pulling up to the Kipling Ave. stop while oprating between Humber Loop and Long Branch Loop.

At first glance, this camera would be mistaken for the common Anscoflex II, but the Sure-Flex is actually quite uncommon. It was made in India by Ace Camera, and this example was sent to me directly from Mumbai, the city in which it was manufactured some 50 years ago.

In McKeown's price guide, they put forth the suspicion that Ansco sold the Anscoflex dies to Ace after the Anscoflex was discontinued. Since the latest advertisement I can find for the Anscoflex II is from December 1958, the Sure-Flex would presumably have been made after that.

What I find most interesting about this particular Sure-Flex is the fact that the film winding knob is completely different than that of the Anscoflex. The photo of the Sure-Flex in McKeown's book shows a winding knob indentical to the Anscoflex, and the few pictures I can find online show the same thing. Since Ace obviously made some cameras with the Anscoflex-style knob, it makes me wonder why they made them differently at some point. Any theories?

Another trip down Memory Lane ...

These photos are from a shoot I did way back in September 2003; I was just starting out with digital cameras and working with models. I was equally clueless in both areas. I think I was using a Olympus and a Kodak digital camera. I also noticed that back at that time I was doing a lot of very tight close-ups to the detriment of others. Lessons learned.

The model here is a young lady named Anna; she was one of favorite models back then. Always fun to shoot with - great personality, sweet and sassy, gorgeous body, and very sharp. We didn't have themes back then, we just let the mood decide her outfits - and apparently this included a fitness shoot.

I took these photos at Westchester Lagoon, Anchorage, Alaska on a gorgeous late afternoon in September 2003. I miss those days!

This later became the Flex production vehicle.

This is one of the ways I keep my legs toned so that they look good and have that sensuous and feminine curvature!

This is an ensemble I got from Newport News a while back during their seamless spandex phase. Its a wonderfully tight and clingy matching set that I've embellished with a stretch belt, seamless panty hose, scrunch socks and my workout shoes. I hope you like my purple outfit and the way it clings to my curves!

And yes, this slapshot was ok. Don't know why the puck looks like it's behind the blade of the stick. :)

Ps. I love the D5's high ISO capabilities. :D

I've wanted to revisit this one for a while now. The Ford Flex is one of the first MOCs I made and I'm really happy with this updated version. I completely took it apart and redesigned nearly every element. The front, windows, sides, interior, and chassis have all been reworked. The only thing that remains semi-intact is the roof... which was pretty good looking on the original if I do say so myself. I had a lot of fun building this one and I hope y'all do to!

This is part of my "Alaska - The Clueless Days" collection; photos I took light years ago when I had no idea how to shoot with models, how to use a digital camera, or how to use flash.

If I remember correctly this was an unplanned shoot. It was Valentines Day, Anna wasn't working that day, so she just popped over to my house and we did this fun shoot. Anna was an absolute delight to shoot with - what a sweetheart!

I took these photos on Valentines Day 2004 in Anchorage, Alaska.
