What to do with all these blocks I've made? With this one, I made my first flex-frame purse, the kind you squeeze and it pops open. Kinda sorta used the instructions in Suzuko Koseki's Patchwork Style but had to modify them because my frame was a different size.
BTW, see the loops the strap go through? They're on the flex-frame hinges. Not all flex-frames have them, but they're pretty handy.
Made the pieced block based on Ayumi's pattern and excellent tutorial on SewMamaSew:

One of the very few Ford Flex models in the Netherlands. This full-size crossover car is available since 2008 but is not exported to Europe.
All the Target Flex stores have this red overhang at the checkout, as well as this wall collage of sketches featuring a mix of local landmarks and scenes, as well as standard Target fare.
The store also has a second entrance/exit in the back onto a secondary street.
---------------
About 7 blocks away from the Chestnut West Target Flex is this second Target Flex. Both stores were opened within the last year. They fill a void left downtown since the Big Kmart (former Clover) closed in the Gallery Mall in 2014.
This 19,000 sq. ft. store is located all on one level and fits a CVS pharmacy, a Starbucks and the normal Target Flex departments--Market, Apparel, Health & Beauty, Home, Baby and Tech (electronics). Like all the Target Flex stores, "order pickup" is touted on the outside of the building.
The forecast was for a very pleasant afternoon in mid-March so we set up a small group shoot at a parking garage in downtown Boise. The weatherman lied. It was bitterly cold, windy, and then it snowed a bit. The poor models froze but toughed it out.
Andrea hates cold weather and it was tough to drag her out of her car. We alternated - 5 minutes shooting, 5 minutes warming up in the car, repeat. It ended up being a fun shoot - especially at the end where we shot in a stairwell - it wasn't heated but it was out of the wind. I think she is still talking to me!

Part of the reason for replacing the older CCAVs was to get a new line of vehicles on par with my current building standards. That includes poseable steering and working suspension.
