Hatchment of the Earls of Sheffield of the nearby Sheffield Park.
This one for John Baker Holroyd, 1st Earl of Sheffield (1735-1821) who married as his third wife, in 1798, Anne daughter of Frederick, 2nd Earl of Guildford.
A Hatchment is a large, painted tablet, typically diamond-shaped, bearing the coat of arms of someone who has died. After hanging outside the family home for a period they were brought inside the church and displayed in their honour.

The whole weekend has been given over to celebrating the home of some of the best live music and sound systems in the area. Tonight was the turn of the old rave sound system that first played here in the early 90s.
