TAIWAN STRAIT (May 13, 2020) An MH-60 Sea Hawk assigned to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 51 takes off from the guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) while transiting the Taiwan Strait. McCampbell is assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force. The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome’s Fleet is presently decorated in the blue and yellow colors of the Roosevelt School of Aviation and has a five-cylinder Kinner radial engine. Known for their ruggedness and reliability, Fleet Finch 16Bs were used extensively in the training of Canadian RCAF pilots during the Second World War. For many years the Fleet was a true workhorse of the Aerodrome doing more than its share of balloon bursting, ribbon cutting and bombing.

New in April 1970 as a dual-door City fleet RE, 1161, WAE 794H was made redundant in the City fleet, and was one of several dual-door REs to be converted to single door layout. She is seen outside the former Kingswood Tram Depot, by then Lex Tillotson, on June 1st 1981, on what was her first duty from Marlborough Street. She doesn't have destination blinds fitted. She is working Service 335, from Bristol Bus Station to Marshfield (I believe). She is carrying a painted Weston-Super-Mare (WM) allocation plate though, having been reallocated there on May 18th, immediately after conversion to single door.

The Fleet Street bus garage!
Fleet Street is a major street in the City of London. It runs west to east from Temple Bar at the boundary with the City of Westminster to Ludgate Circus at the site of the London Wall and the River Fleet from which the street was named.
Having been an important through route since Roman times, businesses were established along the road during the Middle Ages. Senior clergy lived in Fleet Street during this period where there are several churches including Temple Church and St Bride's. Fleet Street became known for printing and publishing at the start of the 16th century and it became the dominant trade so that by the 20th century most British national newspapers operated from here. Much of the industry moved out in the 1980s after News International set up cheaper manufacturing premises in Wapping, but some former newspaper buildings are listed and have been preserved. The term Fleet Street remains a metonym for the British national press, and pubs on the street once frequented by journalists remain popular.
Fleet Street has a significant number of monuments and statues along its length, including the dragon at Temple Bar and memorials to a number of figures from the British press, such as Samuel Pepys and Lord Northcliffe. The street is mentioned in several works by Charles Dickens and is where the legendary fictitious murderous barber Sweeney Todd lived.

Info (SP): Durante sus últimos 15 años de existencia ambas Utinsa y Salcai habÃan desarrollado su flota con una marca emblema, la cual seria la motorización por excelencia y mayoria de cada empresa. Scania fue la de Utinsa y Mercedes Benz la de Salcai, aunque por supuesto ambas incluyeron otras marcas estas fueron las "favoritas" de cada una. Esto se demostró cuando en 1993 Salcai incluyo la primera remesa del CS-40 Intercity de Castrosua. En total se añadieron 3 remesas que sumaron un total de 45 unidades.
Info (EN): During their last 15 years of existence both Salcai and Utinsa had developed their fleet with a particular leading and preferred brand powering most of their fleet. In Utinsa's case it was Scania and in Salcai's it was Mercedes Benz. Of course they included vehicles powered by other brands but these 2 were each company's "favourite" ones. This did not come as a surprise when in 1993 Salcai aded their first lot of the new CS-40 Intercity range from Castrosua. 3 batches were purchased during the years adding up a total of 45 units from this particular model.

Seen passing the Gateshead Stadium Metro Station Bus Stop on Sunderland Road while working a Metro Replacement route number 900 from Heworth to Four Lane Ends during a 2 week period of major overhead line renewal work on the core section of the Tyne & Wear Metro system.

Volvo B58 / Duple Dominant IV C53F. This B58 started life with McGregor (Clyde Coast), Saltcoats as OSJ83X. It still looked the part in March 1988, outside the Fleet Coaches depot.
Q: As can be seen, it featured all-glass doors - why was this?

Believe it or not, the Gilman District hosted a 2nd southbound, this time in the form of the thrice weekly Illinois & Midland "Shops Roadswitcher". 4 cars bounced along behind RS1325 #30 on a round trip to Sicily, IL. Caught the at a country road between Glenarm and Cimic.
