I went to the flea market this weekend for the first time in years. I found the cutest 1/6 scale knick knacks and they were so cheap! I have got to get away from Ebay shopping! I'm hooked on flea markets now. My boyfriend doesn't know it yet, but he's started something. I hope he likes flea markets as much as I do because we'll be spending lots of time at them! Lol
Both China heads are marked Germany on the back and I did not have a blonde in this scale. She will fit in my dollhouse. I have a friend for the brunette - probably her sister - also in need of a dress. Both will be added to my China head doll shelf after they get some new dresses.
China head dolls - $10 each
Caco baby - $3
Plastic baby crib and baby (toy for my Caco kids) - $2
Handkerchiefs (for doll clothing) - $1 each
I found a few of these cute little Flea Weevils on the undersides of oak leaves. So adorable as they walk along the leaves :) They are so small I couldn't get a good picture with my macro lens. I suspect they may be fairly common but overlooked. I've been doing some internet searching to find more information about them. Not finding much.....I am very curious about them.
A serendipity piece!
I was clearing out a cupboard in my department at school and came across a squeezy bottle of red marker ink, designed, rather badly as it turned out, to refill industrial felt pens.
This flea is the result of the ensuing accident, I was able to make something of the mess on the card, but not on the desk or my clothes!!
I have added 'ink outlines' filter, which has manufactured some interest in the background.
I hope you like this, as I do, it is one of the few bits I didn't want to part with at my last exhibition!
JJ and I went upstairs in the flea market - we left Tim downstairs with Lina. So much to look at here, but that eye chart behind JJ caught my eye!

I saw this doll at Uncle Bill’s Flea Market when we were on vacation. She is dressed very nicely. I dare not bring home another doll, especially one this big, but I had to photograph her. 😀💕💖

Nothing new, but one I've wanted to remake out of FMF. I finally got all the squares cut, and now it's spread out over the living room floor. I'm hoping to get the rows sewn together this weekend so we no longer have to walk through a maze to get to the stairs! Blogged here.

blogged at: eandmyblog.blogspot.com This gal is from Southern Calif. and makes the most beautiful bottles. I try to buy one eaach month. If you don't get there early shop owners scoop them all up. I bought a large one for myself and two small ones for my sister-in-laws. They are going to love them!
Vintage Barbie and Ken clothing - all for $10
Everything but the polka dot top were from one seller. The Color Magic Barbie swimsuit is soiled, but the rest look really good! The Alan red top is a little harder to find than some of the other stuff. The yellow dress is Jan's from Pocketbook Pals. The collar could be Pepper's - I'm going it put it with her stuff. Uniform hat is probably GI Joe. It is rubber and nicely made.
The polka dot top looks like Yellowstone Kelly's. The seller gave that to me for giving him doll ID advice.
Any advice on how I can clean the Color Magic suit? I was going to soak in Ivory Snow for a start.
