I finally finished putting everything away, except for these things. After I took this, I remembered where the HK yellow tomato(?) goes, and most of the silver flatware, the straws, and the pastries are from used lots. I'm completely lost on the small yellow sauce dish and the blue bowl. The half orange and juicer were a used separate purchase, as was the yellow and green cutter thingy (I have no idea what that's called. Can you tell?) 😉 I'm thinking the round light bulb also came in a used lot, but I don't remember what the blue and white box is from. It must be a drug store set, but I don't have any full drug store sets except for the new Sumiko Gurashi one. I think the flatware with the bows must be from a character set, but looking through my cards, I didn't see them. I know the tiny plant came with a small used lot, but if anyone remembers where it belongs, please let me know. I have no idea what the clump of yellow food is, but i think the green basket is from a character set. I can't remember what sets the cutting board and rolling pin are from, either. That leaves the three jars on the back right. I have no idea what they are, or where they were when I got all of the red things out. Now I'm wondering if they are even Rement! ;)
Before I put away the flatware that we used at Easter dinner I wanted to photograph it. This was my grandmother's silverware ( on my Mom's side). Some patterns I find are too ornate for my taste but I absolutely love this pattern. I'm so happy to have something of my grandmothers to enjoy and hopefully pass down to my daughter.
All That Glitters is not always gold, some times it is just gold plated as is the case with nice flatware found in North Carolina.
Argh. Today sucked. I wish to win the lottery. I was at a loss for my Mission 24 word flat and thought of my lovely flatware.

We grilled Chicken and Pineapple on the gas grill tonight for dinner. Also made up an Asian salad as well.

I hardly ever post to Flickr with my phone, but I started to line up my fries and then my flatware as I was eating with my family. My family thought I was losing my mind of course until I explained to them that this week's #FlickrFriday was #Parallel then it all made sense!
This image was taken with a Samsung phone and processed within the Flickr app.

Took the BLT ingredients and made myself a salad for dinner. We had some Air-fried Chicken in the freezer and heated it up and chopped and topped it on the salad.

We purchased some ingredients from Tienda Hispana Martina (our local Hispanic grocery). Then we purchased a Pork Roast from Kroger and slow-braised the Roast in our Dutch oven. Then we had Pork Tacos for many days!

Still life with a basket of tableware and a piece of bread.

I love my new flatware, simple and graceful. Mmmmm.

This photo hardly warrants a description due to its immensely simple theme...I just thought there was something really pretty and cheerful about this lone spoon laying atop a sheet of bright pink paper, the sunlight washing gently over its slender stainless steel body.
This is for styling class assignment - must include a fork AND a spoon AND a knife. Not intended as a Cutco ad. Cast glass hand sculpture: “Industrial Strength” by Nadine R Saylor.
Cliché shots are okay as long as you label them as such, right?
I polished all my silver flatware and serving pieces today for use at a wedding shower I'm hosting in April, and decided to play with one of the place settings in my lightbox. Feeling a bit unmotivated and bored today, so it's a good day for a fallback cliché image. Ironically, with only the tips of the tines in focus, it wouldn't have mattered if the fork was tarnished ! Real silverware is so old-fashioned; I don't think many brides even choose a pattern or register anymore...
