in my walks through flatlands, flatbush, weeksville, canarsie and crown heights i've noticed a man. he's just not one man, but many men.

gruff, overdressed, dirty but he is not a tramp. he has left work and one can tell from afar he has worked a full day. his hands show this as does the way he smells. he is a kind of brooklyn working man.

I was struggling to remember where I'd seen this style of architecture before and it finally came to me; the Jersey Shore!

This site features a numbers of vendors and is owned by the City of New York. In 2013 the NYC Economic Development Corporation (EDC) issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the possible redevelopment of the site with a new building. Redevelopment of the site could include a new residential development and continuation of the market.
