The taller trees in the center of this shot are located on Flat Island in the Rhode River. The island is owned by the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center which is located along the river.
There are several islands in the river. Flat Island is rapidly disappearing due to over use by people and their dogs trampling the vegetation and causing erosion. One, High Island has already disappeared and become a shoal that is hazardous to boaters. The River Keeper has asked the public to avoid using the island in hopes it can be saved.

There are many islands in the Chesapeake Bay that have also disappeared due to human activity. I hope this one can be saved.

Because you can't see it on the picture, but we're in Chomrong, Nepal, home of the longest mountainous staircase I've ever seen. From the bridge, no matter what side you're going, you have about 3 times the size of the Eiffel Tower to climb, using steps of randoms sizes.
So even though the man in the picture seems to struggle, this may still be the easiest part in his entire day of hiking around.

ANSH 120 #12 "Flat lay"
This is a flat lay image of my dinner - a grilled flank steak, mashed sweet poataoes and green beans sauteed with onions and cajun seasoning.
With this scene almost mistaken for a Goulburn Day train from the 60s, recently reactivated 42103 charges away from Bargo and across the Bargo River Viaduct on 2494 transfer from Goulburn to Rothbury.
The consist contained 3 BAM's and a BSR which were bought by private owners from the auction at Canberra, along with the 421 being purchased from Goulburn by one of the carriage owners.
42103 is one of the unique members of its class yet with the engine being EMD 645 from a 422.
Work will be carried out on both the cars and the engine hopefully return next year in its new colours.
