This is actually the flashlight that I take with me on all my photowalks. I've gotten stuck in the woods after sunset before, so it's come in handy once or twice :)
Ugh. I just realized I edited this photo to increase the contrast a bit and also straighten it out... but I apparently uploaded the unedited version. It's not a good enough photo for me to want to take the time to fix it anyway... so.. just tilt your head to the right a bit when looking at this. kthnx.

December Scavenger Hunt - Childhood Fears. I wouldn't say I was ever afraid of the dark, but I didn't like it all that much, either.
Alaa is 13 months old in this photo. I borrowed a D700 from my friend Mark and took some shots of him. it was a great experience and a hell of a camera.
