The first edition of the jumior parkrun, a 2k timed run (not a race) in Heavitree Pleasure Ground. 7DC_4763.CR2
Strobist info: One flash, shoot through umbrella positioned up right. Camera f-stop was 8. I had one large white paper, which unfortunately did not completely burn as was expected. I guess I need a second flash unit... Oh yeah, and I triggered via Cactus.
I recently bought an Ålienbees flash unit and have been trying to figure it out. It's kind of hard to do solo. Lot's of shoot, get up and look, adjust, shoot get up and look, etc., etc.
Technical Notes: An SB800 on 1/32 power in a beauty dish with a translucent cover about 6 feet away and about 6 feet off the ground. I had a silver-side reflector below (at about chest level) and a 500 watt shop light slightly behind me. I used a the PC cord that came with the flash unit. I shot it it with a Nikon D80, 105/2.8 at 1/200 with an aperture of 7 on ISO 100. (check the properties for more). I shot this in a 36" wide hallway with cream colored walls, so that probably bounced all kind of light around. I was sitting at the end of the hall, just inside the door opening.
Placed necklace and earrings on the granite top in bathroom--it is a light pink--used a flash. I didn't edit because all that did was make the pearls seem yellow and muted the light pink. It's okay, but still not what I wanted. I didn't realize that shooting jewelry was so difficult.
Retrato com uma configuração parecida com as anteriores, só que com a luz principal no lado contrário. A modelo está segurando o próprio suporte do tripé do lado esquedo, fora do frame.
Strobist: Temos 3 flashes. O 430EX II com um um Softbox III da Lumiquest à esquerda e acima (bem perto). Um 580 EX II com outro Softbox III da Lumiquest à direita. Um 420 EX no chão, apontado para o fundo branco.

James flash lamp, c.1880's. The only reference I have been able to locate is in the book "Colorado on Glass" in which it is pictured as a page decoration.

I usually don't take pictures of paints (not even without flash) but I wanted to show Klimt. I hope I can see most of his work in Vienna some day.
