Something I hope to do more of this coming summer. There's just something about the sheer power of a storm. This shot was taken last summer.
I'm glad I got into flash photography, allowing shots after sunset. Above, Hildegard is waiting to be led into her stall, which she shares with her friend, Julianne. They curl up together to keep themselves warm.

Ello Dolls! Can I just say that Titzuki has killed me and brought me back to life again with this fur! I mean gurl...guuuuuurl. lmfao I just love it so much. It's feeding my inner Barbie. This was fun to put together and I love the way my pictures captured all the items. Such amazing quality in all the brands I featured. I hope you all enjoy. 💋

Macro Mondays theme: Monday, September 18th theme - then and now, before and after, yesterday and today...
Tried a few things for this theme after rumaging through my little box of memorabilia - ie "STUFF" - my biggest problem was to get into the "3-inch rule" limit. Had to use a ruler to make sure I cropped to the 3" limit.
This image has a my old iPhone, an older flash and something you may not recognize - a disposable Flash Cube. These compact little pieces were developed in the 1960's by Kodak for their Instamatic series of cameras and with an adapter you could actually use them on SLR's. I tried to include the adapter, but couldn't get it in because of the 3" rule.

Hildegard suspects that I have a banana for her, but she's just smelling the one that was previously in my camera bag.
Finally got round to painting last sheet of flash in the set. The other sheets are meant to be this colour as well but scanner wasn't working before so I had to use my rubbish camera.
For Macro Mondays theme "Photography Gear”, this is the diffusion lens on my external flash. This lens distributes the light more evenly over the frame. At the bottom you can see part of another piece, which can be pulled out and down to provide a softer diffused light. In this shot it is just sitting in its holder.

After meeting an empty unit train at Elton, MRL 355 gets back on the move with the Bozeman Turn. It's late in the evening so things are pretty dark out here, save for the moment when my shutter was open.
