Snowstorms kept this month's issue from shipping out of the warehouse on time, so it's some classic reprints. "Moving Target"

I think I got that "slapped together" look that a lot of the Super Spectacular covers had in the 70s.

1:1 playback speed of a sketch I did the other night of a toddler age Flash. Sketch will be used as reference for a painting I am planning on doing later this year.
I can only upload 3 minutes at a time so I will upload 3 minute chunks of the video each day until the drawing has been completed. Total time for the drawing is around 9 1/2 minutes
Video taken on my cellphone, which was held in place with a LEGO built stand, and converted for upload using the free version of Wondershare (hence the watermark on the video)
Drawing done in pencil on regular copy paper.
Think I’ve found out why only one half of my ring flash works…. anyone got any spare resistors out there? Time to get soldering.

Had a cool day today at a studio flash workshop in Birmingham. Was great to meet and chat to people who really enjoy their photography and to learn some new techniques at the same time! Should have asked really if we are allowed to release pictures of the model, hence the quick snap of one of the studio lights!
Lighting stuff: 3 flashes with radio triggers.

Soooooooooooooooo....
Because of reasons, Trickster will be the main villain of my Flash story. So he will kinda fill the role of Professor Zoom.
I know some of you might not be happy about this, but don't worry Zoom will still be a recurring and important villain in my series.
Reasons you may ask?
Well the main one would be, I like jokes and writing sarcastic characters. (Main reason I don't try to write a Batman story. :P )
I mean I can write a serious character, and have and will continue to write serious characters. But because of my personality I find it more natural to write funny characters. :P
Reason number two, I just don't really like the whole idea of Zoom. I know he is a really important character in Flash's back-story and overall story, but he is kinda weird to me.
Hope you guys understand where I am coming from. :P
Plz dont hirt mi!

A course on using flash by "fotoklasje.nl".
This picture is the result of the artistic exercise.
A concrete sculpture inside an abandoned office building, some mirrors and creative use of wireless flash did the trick.
Marcel and Bart, thanks!

Een betonnen kunstwerk tegen een spiegelwand in een verlaten Philips-kantoor, gecombineerd met creatief gebruikte draadloze flits, leidden tot deze foto.
De cursus is beslist een aanrader!
Apart from colour, little has been done to this smoke pattern.
