Part of a new piece specially created for The Artist Project exhibition in Toronto using a Sony A77 camera.
Flame is a charity that helps educate slum kids in Pnomh Penh, the capitol of Cambodia. These kids are the marginalised, the forgotten. Flame educates them, so that they may become leaders of the future.
I was lucky enough to visit some of their classrooms and meet these amazing kids
Playing around with the exposure settings and took this shot of my woodburner. Reminded me of a Phoenix rising from the ashes...

The one piece that needs explaining is The-Flame - it's the silent PC I built originally to be a hackintosh, and then just ended up doing lab duty. I documented the gear here:

These days, I just use it as a general purpose lab box, throwing different pieces of software on there to evaluate and then wiping it clean. At the moment, I'm running StarWind's iSCSI target software on it, which lets me use it as a storage server.
